Listen, I am a corgi, a professional eater. I take pride in my ability to inhale food at record speeds. Then my human got this contraption, the Outward Hound Fun Feeder, and suddenly mealtime became an intellectual challenge.At first, I was baffled. Why was my delicious kibble trapped in a maze? Was this a test? A cruel joke? But then... I unleashed my inner genius. I pawed, licked, and strategized until I conquered the puzzle and claimed my prize.Now, I must admit, it’s kinda fun! My food lasts longer, I don’t feel like I swallowed a bowling ball afterward, and my human says it’s better for me. Plus, watching me solve this thing brings her endless amusement.Do I wish my food magically appeared in my mouth? Yes. Would I recommend this to fellow food-obsessed pups? Also yes. Four paws up! 🐾🐾

I ordered thos bowl online because my ceramic one broke and needed a quick replacement. I like the weight of this bowl. Its not very heavy and easy to pick up and move. It does not slide across the floor when my dog is eating from it. I like how she really takes her time eating. I was concerned for how fast she was eating and decided to get a slow feeder to slow her down. Its able to hold up to 4 cups of food. We don't ever feed her that much so there is plenty of room.

i got a silicone slow feeder to start my dog off and he still gobbled his food down in 2 minutes. i took a chance and got these when they were on sale and they work soooo good. my 60lb dogs take 15+ minutes to eat their food now. i especially like them because even the little frozen toppers i add fit between the cracks and they still have to work to get them out instead of being able to snatch it off the top

This is VERY LARGE.. and plastic. We almost never use plastic for the variety of feeding dishes/bowls we feed & water our pets with. I didn't notice the size at all when ordering this. I thought it fell in line with the other slow feeder bowls I'd ordered, being silicone or ceramic. When it arrived I was shocked. We have Shihtzus and Dachshunds so this was not the size I'd been ordering to suit the small sized breeds ..not even close. Cut to: Unexpected company is arriving and I need to put the dachshunds in their crate and provide lunch. Instead of separating them I grabbed this super sized dish knowing they couldn't possibly crowd each other out of it and each could very comfortably eat from it slowly. It'll be good to have on hand. It's quite deep (as I'm positive is suitable for the larger breeds it's intended for and will work for us in situations described above. These 'bowls' come in very pretty colors.. ☺️

My boxer uses her underbite to shovel food into her mouth. Takes like 30 seconds for her to eat her food. Today it took 45 minutes and some frustration on her part. It isn’t very skid proof BUT she was using her paw and moving it around the house to “dig” the food out. It was actually quite entertaining to watch. It stayed in place up until she had 5-8 pieces left and thats about when she started to use her paws. I would highly recommend. Doggo is 50-55 lbs and about medium/large size. Shes a small boxer, little over one year old for reference.

I sent this to my son for his 1 year old puppy. She’s a piggy and was throwing up her food since she eats so fast.At first my son said he didn’t want her to have to work to get her food but he gave it another try & it’s helping a lot. It’s not so difficult that the dog will starve; the food is in sight and though at first they might act like their world is ending , they get used to it. She gets fed 2-3 times a day and hasn’t thrown up since adjusting to this.I might as that I see it as a puzzle and that also helps with boredom.

I got this for my first German Shepherd enthusiastic eater, who eats so fast she puked. This bowl has slowed her down quite a bit! I bought the bowl about 3.5 years ago, and it's held up so well that we bought another one for my second German Shepherd who's less food motivated but still eats so fast he throws up too. Great product and it's held up well!
