Takeya Actives Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Straw Lid, 18 oz, Mint

I have this whole bottle set up when I travel I have a flask and a carrier with a long strap and a handle. I accidentally left. My Hydro flask, set twice and didn’t get it back (once on an airplane, and when I got to baggage claim, I realized I didn’t have it and spent an hour trying to get it back. Someone went on the plane to look for it and came back with a red Ann Klein coat and asked if this was it (you cannot make this up) she said no where did she find my hot pink 40 oz Hydro flask in a neoprene carrier with two straps) I then proceeded to leave its replacement on a bus from Southampton to London. Since the whole thing cost. $67 in total I did not want to lose another while traveling so I got one of these for a month-long trip and it worked very well. It comes with a boot, so that’s an extra bonus.

Beautiful bluestone color. The picture shows 22oz, but when ordering it states 24oz. We were hoping for 24oz, but it wasn't. 22oz is fine.

My teen daughter uses it. Very pretty color. Doesn't leak. It's a perfect size for her to carry around.

I originally gave this a poor review because the straw mechanism was malfunctioning. It often made those slurping sounds that the kids love to make when they get to the end of their drinks. But I just discovered what it causing it and, more importantly, how to avoid it.It is caused by the flip up spout not being open all the way. And when I say “all the way”, I mean ALL THE WAY. If it is even just a few millimeters shy of all the way open, slurping sounds and very little liquid. Since I discovered this, I have been making sure that it is open as far as it will go. I have not had a single slurp since. 😉I’m still going to deduct 1 star for it needing to be perfectly open. Otherwise, it is a great bottle. If I buy another one, I’ll probably get the one without the straw mechanism that you tip up to drink from.

It's nice looking. There is a lot to like. Wirecutter recommended it. I tried 2 sizes. I think the 22 oz that I did not get would be the one to get. I always use the straw, and on both the straw easily dislodged easily at least when I opened it to add more ice or more tea. It leaked ever so tiny a bit if upside down and being shaken. I have one from a discount store that is leak-proof and the straw is bolted on but I have to clean it to death between uses or it smells, which makes me very motivated for a new one. I'm going to try another brand. If nothing else? I will come back for the 22 ounce. I think ALL of these bottles are a tiny bit on the overpriced side unless you are getting perfection and can use them everyday.

I bought a pottery barn water bottle and it was leaking everywhere. We hated it, so I was looking for a good one for my daughter to take it to school and I’m impressed. High quality, leak-proof for sure, the only issue I had is with the silicone bottom part because it was kind of a struggle to put it in the backpack side pocket and my daughter couldn’t take it out or put it back. But last week she discovered that silicone part it’s removable and it’s been perfect. I highly recommend it

I love this water bottle. It's my second one and I'm just as satisfied. They keep water so cold and I love the handle. I would recommend it and I would buy another!

This bottle straw has a issue after few uses , don’t know how we can replace it

I switched to this drink bottle from using a frank green one. I love how you don’t have to touch the straw to open it, which is so much more hygienic. Also I love the silicone cup on the bottom, it makes it harder for you to tip over. I did have to cut a bit off the straw so I could sip out of it more easily.
