Belt fit perfectly once I figured out how to put it on my Husqvarna YTH18542 riding lawn mower. Instructions that came with lawn mower are very poorly written. States that you should work the belt down and off around the electric clutch. Reading an older comment below helped. I have an electric clutch and there was no way the belt would come off around the clutch. Didn't even try because it was clearly impossible. THE FIX: Pulling the belt off the pulley upwards around the engine shaft gave me another couple inches to work with. I was able to carefully put one side of belt in between a fan blade and VERY CAREFULLY spin the fan blade pulley and belt and it came off. Whewwww! Re-install the same way putting the belt above the pulley around the engine shaft. Then work it around the fan blades carefully. Then around the idler and tensioner spindles. Also, I had a very difficult time disconnecting the electric clutch pulley wire connector. Must have been some rust inside the connector. It did come off and afterwards I put a liberal amount of dielectirc silicon inside the connection before re-connecting just in case I need to remove again. Hope this helps other DIY-ers!

I'm very disappointed by Stens belts. I purchased this belt in March 2018 as a replacement for the OEM Husqvarna ground drive belt on my 48" riding mower. Though this was a relatively mild grass growing season, resulting in fewer hours of use, this belt only lasted 7 months before it stretched to the point that it could no longer drive the mower up the mild slopes in my yard. Unfortunately, in April I purchased two other Stens belts for the same tractor's mower deck belts. I replaced one in August (it more or less fell apart) and when I inspected the mower belts yesterday discovered the other is in the process of failing and now must be replaced. So, a total of 3 belts, none of which lasted more than 7 months on a 48" lawn tractor that's used exclusively to mow my approximately 2/3 acre yard. Pitiful!

I installed this on my mower and only got about 10 hours of mowing with it before it came apart. I replaced it with a Gates and no more problems. I gave it one star because it did fit.
