The company sells faulty products then charges an unreasonable restocking fee. They told me they inspected my item and found it unsalable, therefore processed a refund of only $11.00. However, they never received the return from me because I sent it and it was returned to sender due to no valid address. Do not fall for this scam! The water tester does not work

Been using and testing this Aquachek Digital Reader test strip for about a month now and its is good -somewhat.Heres the quick fact based on my testing and usage.. User MUST follow instruction. Personally, I found taking a water sample (pool/spa) then pouring into a med size cup/glass. And then using this cup water (pool) to test. After dipping the strip (follow your instr) then.. I wait 20 sec. then I hold the unit (reader) with the top (company logo AquaChek) toward the ground at an angle so that the top unit is pointing at the ground; this way I could easily place the strip into the slot -otherwise the strip can fall out. (Do not slide into the slot).The readout is fairly consistent ( Ph & Chlorine) but cannot guarantee its accuracy. I get this unit because my eye cannot see good shades of PH.Overall I like it. It helps me by providing a secondary reading besides my chart strip. Lately however, the alkalinity is not consistent. Ill have to call the company!!!

I am red-green color blind (as are many men). I have spent decades trying to match color on traditional, liquid pool chemistry tests as all the basic chemical tests involve red indicator fluids with little color saturation. This test strip reader provides reliable, reproducible results.

I failed to look at the reviews before I bought this product. So my issue is my fault but the item did not work for me either and I returned it to only get an $8.00 refund for a $79.99 item. This is so wrong.

The product is not user friendly and simply does not work well. The customer service is nonexistent. I returned this $64 item to get a refund of $6 after a “restocking fee” of $61. Buyer beware!

This item wouldn't work. Would not record water testing. I requested a return and received a refund for $3.00 when it cost me $70.00. Was informed a charge of $66.00 for restocking was placed. Not happy!

Item does not work. I wanted to return the item. Pools 'n' Tools wanted to charge a restocking fee equivalent to almost the full value of the item which is outrageous especially when the item does not work as advertised. Beware of this vendor and their ludicrous return policy/ridiculous restocking fee.
