these really aren't that great, but those will both set you back $1000-$1500 ...
Saying this right from the start, these are $150 monitors, you are searching in the lower end of a market that extends well into the thousands of dollars/speaker, so know what you;re getting into. Compared to my Rokit RP10-3's , and my Presonus Sceptre S8's, these really aren't that great, but those will both set you back $1000-$1500 respectively. so at 1/10th the price, how do these do.?At this price point, I have to say these speakers sound absolutely remarkable, surprisingly strong bass given their size, but again, 5 inch speakers, check your expectations. The midbass is really Excellent considering the price point, and the mid/mid-highs are pretty good as well in terms of clarity and volume... in regards to this price range. I find these a bit fatiguing to listen to high volumes for long periods of time if compared to my presonus's,They sound pretty flat to my ear at the non-room corrected setting, but if you don't have treatment material between them and the wall behind them ( My mounts leave about 14 inches from cone to wall, mileage and mounts may vary.) these can become very harsh sounding because of the reflection. For the money though, These are surprisingly transparent, even though they can only produce 48k sound, If you;re looking for a good ser of monitors that really do have a ton of power. these were a pretty good buy, I'd buy them again for their current application.

Great sound
I love the sound of these more than my KRK’s and they hook up via usb (one of several ways) so it works a lot better with how my home studio is set up

Good sound quality and power
I am using these studio monitors for a small studio. Very happy with the sound quality of them. Good volume and balanced sound. I would recommend them to anyone no matter how small or how big your studio is. Definitely if your on a budget.

Lots of power
Good monitors with lots of power. Wouldnt work with unbalanced trs cables, but no biggie as I had balanced as well. I just wish they had grill covers.

Narrow-band "reference" at best
Reviews of these types of devices is, at the consumer level, subjective. My experience is longstanding, having been in professional broadcasting and sound support. I own a pair of Behringer B2030A's, with which I performed an A-B comparison. The B2030's are priced at twice the cost of the STUDIO50USB. The B230 names itself "truth", and as a "reference" does appear to provide the good, the bad and the ugly, with a nicely balanced representation of the entire reproduction range. That's the mission of a reference speaker (and systems driving them). To my ears, the STUDIO50USB's are lacking in low end (despite their well-intended bi-amplification), while mid and upper range overpower. Although my ears are not spectrum analyzers, the STUDIO50USB's are way too sharp. The computer speakers these replaced, when coupled with a paired subwoofer, provide a much fairer and balanced sound image. Given the cost difference, in my opinion you get more than a 50% increase in quality between the STUDIO50USB and the B230A.With STUDIO50USB I would suggest proceeding carefully. Try them out. Perhaps your ears will be more pleased. Or jump to the B230A's. I suspect with these you will not be unhappy.

Great monitors for the price
Are use the speakers as monitors in my home Studio for the price I didn’t expect the sale that I got but when you mix it with the same brand mixer interface board I guess it really helps

These sound great for the price
These sound great for the price! Not as loud as I was expecting a 100 watt monitor to be. Don't get me wrong, they can get plenty loud, but my 40 watt Mackies blow this thing out of the water in terms of sheer volume. The Mackies are 8-inch speakers as opposed to 5-inch for these though. I haven't tried the USB but plug in via XLR to my audio card on the computer and it works just fine. For the price these are a great deal.

Disappointed
These speakers are at full blast all the time. I went with a usb studio monitor so that I wouldn't have to get another piece of equipment to control them. When I contacted Behringer customer service they could not even comprehend the issue. It's been over 10 days since I've heard from them. I'm using a MacBook Pro with El Captain and it seems as though these monitors have no driver or a very basic one which cannot properly communicate with my Mac. Simply turning the master volume very low and utilizing the volume controls in Logic Pro is not a viable solution. These will be returned for a usb studio monitor with a dedicated driver.

Precio calidad ...
