BD Home Sharps Container
This is a great sharps container. It was inexpensive. The walls are thick, no chance of accidental puncture. It's easy to use and easy to dispose of in the trash.

Great container to put your sharps in
This is a great container to store your sharps. It is a very sturdy and durable container and holds your sharps inside so they won't come out at any time. You have to push the sharps inside of the container with the pen you use, but that isn't a problem if the contains the product so children and pets can't get to them. I highly recommend this container. Not a bad price either for safety.

The best on the market
These are the safest, most sturdy home sharps containers on the market. I am a physician-acupuncturist, and I prefer these to all other brands. They have (sadly) become increasingly difficult to find in local pharmacies. Fortunately, Amazon sells them at a very reasonable price.

Easy to use, doesn't use much space.
So easy for pen needles. The opening is small and the used needles do not fall out. Easy to seal when full. Then just drop it off wherever used Sharps are accepted.

Very sturdy and hard to puncture
I am a type 2 diabetic so I use this product to store used pen needles and lancets. It has both a place to safely unscrew the pen needle from my insulin pen in a safe manner - some other sharp containers are just a container with a top that's too wide and can cause sharps to fall out if it's accidentally bumped into. My guess is those are designed to be bracket-mounted to a wall. Why use something like that when I can use this product? Just drop used lancets or insulin syringes in the provided hole on top or use the provided space to unscrew a pen needle safely. When filled up, just snap the lid shut and dispose f it according to local law (my city requires that we either send it to a drug store that accepts such, to a local health department, or directly to the garbage dump and hand it to a worker there) that's attached. It's practically impossible for someone to open up using only their bare hand.

The Size of the Container Is Best
They are very compact and easy to handle. The volume is excellent for your needs. The only problem is that the vents are too small to deposit the needles and require squeezing, thus pricking your fingers.

Vital for Insulin Pen users
Only container I'll use. I can get others from my doctor for free, but this brand has a pen needle insert to remove the needle and drop it in with no contact. Others require manual removal of the needle by hand and dropping into the container. BD Containers eliminate the potential accidental finger stick from your needle. Each container holds about 300 pen needles, so it's well worth the few dollars of investment to protect yourself and others from accidental stabs.
