Really like this thread. Sturdy and strong

I bought it for quilting after doing the math on buying individual spools of thread. Even having to buy a little stand this was much more cost-effective and I like the strength of the thread.

Love this thread for quilting. Large amount so lasts a long time. I use it on a thread stand and works perfectly. I haven't had an issue with dust or lint using it. 100% cotton, so great for microwave bowl cozies. This is my first purchase of this thread, but will definitely purchase again.

I have been using Connecting Threads cotton thread for many years. I am a fiber artist and so have tested (and bought!) cotton thread from every manufacturer. This is, by far, my favorite go-to thread. It comes in gorgeous colors and the price per spool allows me to collect every color they offer at an affordable cost. I also think it is also the highest quality thread available. No linting, no problems going through my machine, and no problems with tension. I can’t recommend this brand enough. And no, I have no “influencer relationship” with this company.

I’ve read a lot of the reviews prior to purchasing and bc of the price I tried it. Alot of the reviews complained that this thread had a lot of breakage. I have experienced some breakage but I have a sewing machine that stitches 1600 spm and I noticed when sewing at a medium speed I sometimes experienced breakage. While piecing a quilt I’ve had 3 breaks. The thread itself isn’t bad when you’re on a budget compared to a lot of the other name brand threads. I’m still up in the air about it bc of the breakage which I never have with the name brand more expensive threads but so far I can deal with breakage here and there.

I do a lot of quilting, and I find this thread to work beautifully. It’s just thick enough to show my quilting and not so thick that it looks clumpy. I will buy again.
