Multipure Aquaversa Below Sink Water Purification Unit, Chlorine Reduction, NSF Certified, Stainless Steel

We already have this model at home, and now installed it our cabin. The water has a strong iron and sulfur flavor there, but now our coffee, tea, ice and drinking water taste great. The filter is not too difficult to change once a year, and our handyman had no trouble with the install. We originally chose this model because it was highly rated by a leading consumer magazine, after our trusty Kenmore model had to be removed because filters were no longer available.

I've always wanted one of these filters and now that I have one, I can't imagine going back to unfiltered water. I live in an area of high quality water but compared to what this filter does, unfiltered tap water tastes contaminated.Stainless steel and solid carbon block filter=lifetime of quality, delicious, less contaminated water. If you are made up of over 70% water, you need one of these. It's a solid investment in your lifelong health imo.

Tried vinegar to clean the lime/calcium off of it and it started rusting

We bought the Aquaversa under sink model, with the chrome faucet over 7 years ago, and we change the filter every 6 months, or if the water begins to taste a bit funky.We have sulfur-smelling well water, with a very unpleasant taste, and the Aquaversa takes care of taste and smell. We use this filtered water for drinking, making coffee and tea, cooking, washing veg, boiling and rinsing pasta, you name it. So glad we found it! We are going to purchase another for our new home when we move.
