Cuisinart 419-18P 2-Quart Pour Saucepan with Cover Contour Cookware, Stainless Steel

I like this product very much. Very useful and have had no problems. Easy to clean. Heat is distributed evenly. The handle is a little long for me and it would benefit if it was heat resistant both the lid knob and handle.

Love the sturdiness of the pot and lid. Perfect addition to my collection!

This is a beautiful and functional stainless steel saucepan. It's a practical size for most of the cooking that we do in our household of 2. The glass lid is great to see what you have going on in the pan, and the lid's strainer holes are convenient so that yo don't have to dirty a separate strainer or colander. The shape and the finish on the pan are an aesthetic masterpiece. We have the same pan in from cuisinart in their nonstick "Quantanium" or "hard-annodized", but I believe these are just different words for toxic PTFE or teflon, so we wanted to replace them with a stainless steel equivalent, and we found just that in this product. Love it.

Liking how snugly the lid fits on the pot. Veggies can be gently cooke.

Why only "almost" the best? For lots more money, I suppose I could have found a perfect pan. I've had the non-stick aluminum version of this very same pan since 2013. liked it, but decided to move away from coated cookware. The stainless is not quite as easy to clean as the non-stick coating but it's not bad and Barkeeper's Friend quickly restores the beautiful interior finish. The pan itself is perfectly made in every respect and beautifully finished inside and out.The lid, of identical design to the 2013 version, is a different matter. The stainless rim is not as highly polished as was the original and the strainer holes are not well deburred on the inside. They have some sharp edges that were not left on the earlier lid. This lid was almost certainly made in a different factory from the pan, and to a lesser standard of quality. Not compromising to usefulness, just a little bit disappointing when compared to the earlier version of the lid and to the fine quality of the pan itself. I'm continuing to use my old lid.

This little guy goes perfectly with the cuisinart stainless cookware that I already have. Wanted it for making sauces and since there is just my wife and myself this is the perfect size. Can't go wrong with cuisinart.

This is the highest quality pan I have ever owned, but the poor thing wants to tip over. It will stand up straight on a level surface, but my gas stove has widely spaced grates, I almost can't use the beautiful pot.

This is my favorite pan now. I love not having to use a colander and have another dish to wash. It's so handy. I sent one as a gift & the recipient was very pleased as well & loves not having to use another item for draining liquids. So easy to clean. Love it!
