We bought this chair for my 79-year-old relative when she was struggling to get in and out of a chair with painful wrists, knees and a bad back. She said she could not describe what a difference the chair has made - the lumbar support makes her feel like the chair gives her 'a very gentle hug' and her back has significantly improved. As a tall person, the chair is high enough for her to be able to get up and down comfortably and is just the right height.What's more, her family have peace of mind that she will never be stuck in the chair, due to the very smooth and effective riser function. Perfect for mum whose mobility is worsening. She is now able to raise her own legs, stand, even sleep for long periods. A great easy to use chair, delivered quickly and set up efficiently. I would recommend.

I don’t understand why this has a Which recommendation! My mother sat in it for one hour her leg went dead. She says it is so uncomfortable and could not use it for long periods which is no use as she is 92. In fairness the firm supplying it were very helpful when we said we wanted to return and get refund Though the delivery firm they used were not at all reliable so took several attempts to get them to come and pick it up
