MerrellMen's Chameleon 8 Stretch Waterproof Hiking Shoe

These hiking shoes are excellent for those looking for a comfortable waterproof option for rugged hiking environments. I wore them in Montana on rugged trails and even climbing a rocky ravine and they performed well. They feel warm in cold weather and also seem very waterproof. They also are very comfortable for urban wear (airports, city streets etc) and hug and support your feet. I feel ready to deal with what ever terrain or physical activity is required in them. I wasn't sure if I would like the slip on aspect (no laces) but I do in this boot. ( I think they look good (the Mrs. thinks less of them in that department). They do warm up a bit, like a boot, so be advised that, like any boot, your feet may sweat some and that is the only negative I have found (including the foot smell after a long day out in them). That being said, the trade off is well worth it in my opinion and any boot would likely do the same. They are excellent Merrill's and I would and have recommend to others. I may also buy another style in the same shoe for variety.

I have owned a pair of these (different generations) since 2005ish. I keep a couple of the old pairs to wear around the yard etc. I wear them more than any other shoe. They are not really a hiking shoe not really a running shoe certainly not a boot but comfortable look ok and have great grip. You will get hooked if you buy a pair.

This is the third pair of these shoes that I have bought. They usually last me 2 to 3 years and I wear them five days a week, very comfortable durable and they are an amazing shoe.

Unlike the Merrell Chameleon "tactical" shoes sold here, there are actually waterproof, and very comfortable. I wish they were lighter. Tread feels solid.

Really like the fit and the water proofing, but you will need a shoe horn to put on.

Very tight fit, it's hard to get the way the back of shoe is made its cuts right into back of my heel, when you walk in them, even that tight fit, the back of shoe feels like it might slip off, It's a good-looking shoe, very disappointed!

Los uso para traerlos todos los días y son muy cómodos, soy seguidor de la marca desde hace 15 años y la verdad es que si han bajado mucho la calidad de los productos, ni hablar.... El diseño es lo que más me gusta por eso los compré, anexo fotos del modelo q compré, en MX ya dejaron de distribuirlos, solo aquí en Amazon puedes cómpralos, a ver si duran como mis merrell de años, q duran muchos años

These shoes are comfortable.

Estos chamelion me gustaron mucho. Son muy cómodos, y si eran resistentes al agua al inicio. Llevo 6 meses usándolos casi diario, lo malo es que ya se empiezan a desgastar, esperaba que duraran al menos 1 año.
