Lovely watch. It is a nice shade of gold; shiny but not too gaudy. The front and back open up simultaneously when you push the button on top. Note that it doesn't open flat (each cover opens at a 90 degree angle) so trying to use the magnifier to read something is awkward. It is maneuverable if you need it for short things like reading a price tag or receipt total, though. When the back is open, you can view the lovely clockwork mechanism. It also comes in a nice presentation/storage box.Remember that the rule of thumb when you close the covers on watches like these is to push the button in first, close the covers and then release the button. Otherwise the latch gets worn down. Also, unlike old watches where you turn the winding mechanism back and forth to wind it, this one only gets wound in one direction. Instructions are included in the box.

Does anyone buy a skeleton watch to tell time? This actually DOES keep surprisingly accurate time, but we mostly bought it for its delightfully watchable movement, which is visible from both front and rear; also, both front and back crystals are protected by separate covers. Quite a package for this price.

I LOVE it! I LOVE the silver and gold used in the design. I LOVE seeing the inside/moving parts through the window glass. But the silver and gold together make it unique and hard to find in a pocket watch without paying small fortune. It seems to be working fine so far... will keep you posted for sure.

Bought this on a lark not really expecting much but I'm impressed. The finish is good, action is smooth and looks nice. Ten full turns on the winding last about a day and it hasn't seemed to lose our gain any time. The two windows really show of the escapement and going train. I wear it every day now.Update: the hoop that holds the chain on the watch broke but the watch still works

This actually looks better in person than in the photos from the manufacturer. Their photos show a color difference between the watch and the winding mechanism, but ours didn't have any color difference. It included a chain, hidden under the cutout for the watch. It's a very good price for a very good-looking, hand-wind, pocket watch.

This is a really beautiful pocket watch. I bought it to give to my soon to be husband as a gift on our wedding day. I think he will love it.

One of my favorite watches. (You have to understand these watches require daily or twice daily winding). If you don't want to have to set the time daily, then battery powered is still cool for a pocket watch

good looking case design, accurate watch, take care with the delicate winding stem ,wind only 1 direction follow set directions closely. interesting watch can see skeletal movement from both sides

Watch was not too bad, looked vintage, worked well. Back cover had a little rust though, had to return since i bought it as a gift and i didnt want to give it away like that

もともと懐中時計は、ロマンがあったので、欲しかったです。今回、安かったので、買ってみました。安いから、まぁまぁかなぁと思っていたのですが、いい感じです。チェーンもついていて、そのチェーンは、ズボンに引っ掛けられて、そのままポケットに入れられるので結構、個人的には気に入りました。時計のデザインもよかったです。素材はプラなので、ものすごく材質を求める方はオススメはしませんが、この値段でこの質は良いと思いました。ぜんまいをかけると、24時間働いてくれるので、ちょっと楽しむには良いですね。タイトル通りに、両側が開くので、机において、オブジェにもいい感じです。
