I needed a cable to go from my PC to my TV. My PC only had displayport output and the TV only had HDMI input. This cable did the trick! Picture and sound quality is clear, the cable itself is heavy duty and a little on the stiff side but not too bad and it has a braided cloth exterior. The length (10ft) was sufficient to run from the PC behind the wall to my TVtdata box mounted behind the TV. This seems like a really decent deal for the price

This cable configuration was the conclusion of an approximately $30 learning experience. Two other configurations failed as a result of my lack of knowledge, but it was far less expensive than buying a new monitor/tv. Hello, Displayport port, nice to finally meet you. This cable works perfectly if you need 3840x2160 resolution. Display characteristics are crisp and rival the direct HDMI cable. Perfect!
