I love to do yoga and the yoga mat I owned was very flimsy and not at all comfortable. I purchased this yoga mat hoping it would be what I have been looking for and honestly I couldn't be more happier! This mat is very comfortable and the material isn't at all cheap! The case it comes in is an added bonus ! It has a great grip and it's also very soft! So, I am going to honestly say this was worth every cent!

First of all, this mat is a really nice one. I mean the feel, the weight, the material and the pure workmanship collectively lets you know it is a quality product right out of the container. It has a stunning intricate white design with a beautiful deep blue base color. Honestly, I am not use to having such fab yoga tools and I truly didn’t know it could make such a difference, but I am aching less after my sessions and even my feet and legs feel better. The cushion against my hard floor is a life changer. The kids love it too. They are using it to lie around on the floor while gaming on their devices at night. No more red elbows. I thought it would slide on this flat carpet, but it stays right in place, which is a good thing because my name is not Grace for a reason. So finally I will say, all in all it is a fabulous find and a welcome addition to my exercise routine and my New Year 2019.P.S. If you go out to the gym, it’s super easy to take with, easy to wipe down and quickly roll back up and comes with a sturdy carrying strap. Depends on which one you get to know exactly about the weight, but to give you an idea mine is the 1/8” and right at 4 pounds. Definitely a plus and I do recommend.Con: I have to buy another one so the kids will quit using mine. I mean there is just something personal about my yoga and pilates mat and ok I am a little selfish. haha

Hey there fellow yogis. I have a share of eccentric mats I love. Everything from the first with a towel in it to unique textures to custom mats for me. I picked this one up because well sueded mat had a unique sound. First off for all my compassionate yogis, please, this is not real suede but a synthetic suede like upper. The top of the mat is smooth and beautiful and the image is not messed up by movement and the flow of the fibers. The print stays bold and beautiful and I would describe this as a royal purple.Upon opening you can smell the natural rubber smell which to me is a welcoming. I love rubber bases over any other material out there because of it's density and support on the fact I am a heavier male yogi at over 230lbs. Natural rubber had a unique smell but fear not it airs out. It is worth it for its unparalled support!Functionality wise. Yin/hatha/restorative wise this is a dream come true with dense padding and great dry grip from those slower moving and extended stretch/hold positions. The other opportunities you may hit are you more... Detoxing practitioners who make drop a little more moisture like in Bikram or hot yoga. As it is sueded, when wet out the fabric is not as grippy as it is dry.This overall is a gorgeous mat with lots of stunning focal points and an inspiring color with amazing drip grip and comforting needed support. I have had a few mats in the past-some c9 ones from target, a basic one from five below, etc. This is by far better than any mat I've had. Unrolling the mat it immediately laid flat which is nice. It has enough weight that it doesn't curl up on the floor or shift around when I transition poses. The mat doesn't smell like vinyl or that strong rubber scent either which is awesome. I've used the mat probably 10 times since receiving it a few days ago and I find that the suede is very comfortable and grippy which makes practicing very nice. Even if I get sweaty, it only makes the suede easier to grip so I don't have to worry about getting injured due to my mat not doing its job. My only negative to the mat is the thickness. If holding a pose for more than a few breaths it can make you a bit uncomfortable because of the body weight; however I use blankets most the time when holding poses for long periods. Overall I'm super happy to have this mat in my yoga space because it makes practice much easier and far more enjoyable. I would say it is absolutely worth every penny and even a bit of a steal for the price.Ps. The mat also comes with a strap and tube for storage/gifting. My tube came with a dented rim but it dis not affect the mat or strap inside. And the tube was still in good enough condition I will use it still for storing if I need to get it off the floor.

First of all the color, and design are so beautiful and pleasant. I had to stop an admire it once rolling it out. It's perfect weight, and easy to roll. The size is great and I am 5'9. Comfort level off the charts. I did my usual yoga routine (about an hour) and not once did it slide across my laminate wood flooring. No friction, and great padding made for a pain free session. If your looking for a wonderful yoga mat, here it is.

I REALLY wanted to love this mat. It's a great color, price seemed reasonable, checked most boxes. I even dismissed the smell. However, after just two to three uses I noticed that during my exercise sessions the grip (on the floor) was just average and after each session, it was shedding and leaving flakes on the floor. Unfortunately, the first two I could endure but the flaking I can not. I'll be lucky if this lasts me to the end of the month! *Note: I store it in a shaded, cool area so I don't believe it's due to that.* I will try to add a photo when I can but just wanted to get the message out first. When I tried to return, the person at UPS told me that it would cost around $60! Also, I have no access to an Amazon location that will take the return. If I hear from the company, I will definitely follow up with an edit.
