Effective - makes moving much easier
Marvellous contraption. Saves heaving on the handles and bodywork of the caravan. Pulls through the hitch as designed so the effort is best placed.

Not all ball hitches are the same size
This is a 2" ball and it was too big to fit my horsebox hitch, which is 50mm. The 50mm has an under-cut lip at the base of the ball for the hitch securing lug to lock into - a 2" ball doesn't, so the hitch handle can't lock down fully and can then jump off.
