It lasted about 6 months and I think I went on maybe 4 fishing trips so very lightly used. I went out to mess around on the boat and my fish finder was lying on the deck because one of the ball mounts broke off. Do not purchase this item. It won’t last

Works as it should

I purchased for a large fish finder for my boat and it works fine but is a little bouncy. I am going to use it as a phone holder on the boat instead and get a little more robust one for the fish finder. It did work and did not break with 5 uses on the boat but not sure if it is worth risking a 1000$ fish finder.

I mounted my fish finder on this and it didn't match any of my holes from my Base on my hummingbird. I had to drill bigger holes in the bracket to custom fit this with my fish finder. I was surprised that this didn't come with any mounting screws or any instructions for install. Once I had this mounted I could not travel on the road with my boat on the trailer and fish finder mounted because it bounced so bad that I was afraid I would lost my unit on the highway. The mount seemed to be made very well built but it is not stable at all. I had no way of locking down my fish finder also so it wouldn't get stolen. Spend your money on a better brand name product. IMO..

Idk why everyone dislike this product. It came with the mounting hardware (nuts/bolts) all the pieces and it’s actually nice heavy and thick. I’d recommend and I’ll buy again if or when needed

It was about what I expected for the price but if you want to use it you will have to come up with all your own nuts & bolts & screws cause absolutely noe come with it!!

Great idea

Full disclosure, I purchased a "pre owned" unit, which states the unit was complete but missing packaging. Not interested in paying $5 for a box, I bought the pre owned one, which arrived in a sealed bag with one of the mounting knobs broken off. I drilled out the shaft and ran a stainless screw through the shaft into the knob, and it is holding so far. I own ram mounts and they are sturdy and feel solid. This unit is not that, it feels a lot lighter and flimsy. For my application, it will work. If I was mounting this in a more important location, or in a boat, I would spend the extra money on a ram mount.

Very pleased with the quality of this mount. Although the hole patterns on the fish finder attachment didn’t align perfectly for my Humminbird Helix 7, this was easily resolved by enlarging 2 holes on one side. Both gimbal pivots are solid when tightened so I’m confident it’ll stay in position even in the roughest water.

Description is for mounting fish finder GPS and does not align to any of my units, Waste of money buy a different brand cheap and nasty.

This is what I hate about Amazon and the poor quality junk on here.This is a two piece mount for fish finders, supposedly universal. The bolts included do not fit the holes of the pedestal AND the “ universal mounting plate “ holes do not match up with my Humminbird Helix 7. Total waste of time and money.So I’ll have to drill out both parts…
