This one worked without stripping out
I had a crank puller included with the crank set I purchased. It was a good thing I purchased this better quality one in advance, the included one stripped trying to remove the crank. Opened the Amazon package, the crank was off in 30 seconds. Spend the extra $2. and get this one, you won't be sorry. Much better quality.

Holds up so far and worth the price
Probably not commercial quality but well suited for the DIY .That’s what it was advertised for and that’s what I needed. So no complaints

Requires 15 mm wrench
Well the 8 mm Allen wrench bit and the crank puller tool work, but the handle is otherwise useless if you already have an 8 mm Allen wrench at hand. I had assumed you could use the handle to work the crank puller too, but no! It's for 14 mm nuts. I don't think I have any 14 mm nuts on my bike and the nuts on the crank puller are 15 mm. Too bad, this could be a pretty good kit otherwise.

Works perfectly
Super easy to use and provides two options for different types of cranks. Can't beat the value for the function it provides.

Doesn't work for square taper where spindle has male threads
My square taper spindle/axle has built in male threads on the end, it is held in by a nut on each side, not by a bolt which threads into female threads on the spindle/axle. The way this tool is designed the removable tip will not recess down into the tool which results in the tool not having room to thread into the crank. If you remove the tip the tool can recess enough to screw into the crank, but, the part making contact with the threaded spindle/axle sits RIGHT over the top of the threads and would result in pushing down and warping the threading thus ruining the axle/spindle. My solution was to put the tip into my lathe and machine it's width down where it will actually recess into the tool combined with removing a collar on the inside of the tool. Now...how many of you have a lathe and machining knowledge to do this modification to make it work? That's what I though, very very very few people. With the time it took me to do this modification I should have just ponied up the extra $8 for the brand name version. In this case you pay for what you get.

Quality at a fair price
Just recieved this today and put it to work right away. Pulled some really seized cranks off a 25 y/o bike. The threads are well within tolerance unlike most other similar tools in this price range. Like others have stated, you need to remove the black cap off the end to use it for square tapered cranksets.
