Comfortable and sturdy !!
Great boots with Great ankle support, comfortable and sturdy boots from Hoggs of Fife, with good strong grip rubber compound soles, i take a 10.5 UK size so went for the 11 UK and they fit perfectly with a pair of thick socks - the big plus for me is that are British made which is very rare these days - so well done Hoggs of Fife (Scotland UK) - Highly recommend for fell walkers and ramblers - without breaking the bank £ !!! - Water proof but not breathable - I sprayed mine with a fabric waterproofer to give extra protection from wet weather - These are Excellent boots !!!!!

My favourite boots.
These boots are a bargain for the price. I've had a pair every year for the last 6 years. I use mine for working in, I do landscaping and they hold up very well. They're really comfy and I just love them.

Great boots
I never write reviews. The boots have been great from first fit. Didn't expect much at this price and I've tried some 3x expensive. Light, comfy and seem waterproof. A generous size so don't buy bigger than normal. Very happy.

Well made and comfortable
These boots are some of the best of this type (fabric walking boots) money can buy and far cheaper than the alternatives. They are waterproof in wet grass, the soles are hardwearing and have good grips and the insole is comfortable and well padded. All of the joints are well sewn in, the eyelets well attached and even the laces supplied are well made and last for ages. The fit is a generously wide standard. The boots come in blue and green and are stylish enough to wear anywhere. In my experience of previous pairs what eventually goes is the sole but that is only after several years when the treads are worn anyway.

Comfortable fit + durable
Have worn for around 30 x 10-mile walks now - still comfortable and sturdy, ie. showing few signs of wear, so good value I believe. (The original muted olive colour persisted for 3 or 4 months, but now mud brown! - will attempt a decent clean-up.)
