I am mechanical engineer and this book is all you need to make plastic molding. This is a technical book and you require knowlege about mechanics (tensile strenght, finite element, Share Stress, flow, etc).The book is well documented and take you step by step. Finally the book close using Finite element software to calcultate the process of platic molding. The problem (relative) that this software could be expensive and there is not trial demos. But if you have it or you can model your problem and solve the equations you are done.When i started to read this book i can not design or construct a molding, when i finished it i can design, construct, evaluate and also cost a mold. I also review 5 other books of plastic molding design and they are so empiric; if you desire a technical book supported by mechanical engineering and you have the knowledge to understand and then apply it do not hesitate to go for this book. Remember a mold takes it price because there is engineering on it.Jorge Luis
