Great for dual monitors with the unusual ports

Had displaylink already downloaded, plugged in the Startech and it worked instantly and flawlessly. Zero issues so far and so happy with it.

DO NOT BUY
I was looking on Amazon one day for a docking station for my Macbook Pro 14" M1 Pro and I came across this docking station. I figured it was the right fit but after testing it for a few days both my 1080p monitors would flicker and the screen would go black. I had installed the DisplayLink drivers as the instruction manual indicated but that did not fix my issue. It also was causing the resolution of the screen to look a bit blurry. Please do not buy this if you are looking for a Docking Station for a Mac.

Compact, lots of USB ports
Got a new work laptop. This is compact and allowed me to connect two external monitors to my laptop. Saved a lot of space on my desk.

Supports multiple monitors for MacBook Air
Compact with good port selection for additional devices. Tried to charge phone via one of the USB-B ports and it did not work. There is a USB-C port with power.

Like all other StarTech products I have experience with, this is a very well made docking station and functions perfectly.This is NOT a docking solution for those with heavy needs, as I'm sure you can see. This is best for someone with medium docking needs. This will also work well for travel docking needsAll ports function perfectly. I've had absolutely no issues with any port I've used.I've used this with Mac and Windows based units, with no issues.The best feature of this dock, hands down, is that of the dual monitor feature.Overall, this is a very solid dock and I have no reservations recommending it.4 starsCheers!

The device just quit working today. Didn’t even make it to 12 months
I like the device a lot but it just died today. I bought it less than. Year ago. So disappointed.
