It's worth it
I keep asking myself if this is a pamphlet or a book. Either way it's good enough that I'm glad I bought it. You can't ever go wrong with the man.

If Only We Could Get People to Pay Attention Before it’s Becomes Too Late
Noam Chomsky always has something to say. And generally not many people pay attention. I don’t suppose many will read this book either.

An easy read of an interesting discussion
Very light, but thought provoking. Has inspired me to read more of Chomsky’s work. Raises questions for me around quality of activism and the means by which we identify the often elusive root causes of the systemic issues we face

Excellent
In his new book, Noam Chomsky writes cogently about the threats to planetary survival that are of growing alarm today. The prospect of human extinction emerged after World War II, the dawn of a new era scientists now term the Anthropocene. Chomsky uniquely traces the duality of existential threats from nuclear weapons and from climate change—including how the concerns emerged and evolved, and how the threats can interact with one another. The introduction and accompanying interviews place these dual threats in a framework of unprecedented corporate global power which has overtaken nation states’ ability to control the future and preserve the planet. Chomsky argues for the urgency of international climate and arms agreements, showing how global popular movements are mobilizing to force governments to meet this unprecedented challenge to civilization’s survival.

Corporate Totalitarianism will not falter, if people do nothing.
Mass sustained civil disobedience or extinction. If we don't face this fact we are doomed.

Not a book
A few good interviews, _badly_ edited into what is being called a 'book'. Font size 14 , wide margins(1:1:1:1.5in) of 108 glossy pages (not 118 as Amazon advertises), padded with pictures and notes and 13 pages of 'editors introduction'.The 1 star is based on the format, editing, and price, not the interviews contents.

Review
I suggest reading peter waham, david wallace wells & dahr jamill for climate change. There are good books about greenland also

Important issues and questions
The book is a collection of answers taken from speeches and interviews. Chomsky is smart, we know it, and his interesting reading his point of view. I share most of his view.

Internationalism or Extinction
Everyone should read Chomsky. We are sleepwalking through the most dangerous times. This is a wake up call and should be widely shared.
