Only thing I’ve left a review for because it’s all-around best case I’ve had deserving of 5 stars. It is slim, slimmer than OtterBox’s Commuter Series case, and I believe provides better protection than it as well. I’ve had a few iPhone cases including a couple OtterBoxs, and I like this one the most and really think this one is the best. I compared all the top rated/ best selling iPhone cases and this one came out on top with slimness and protection being the main factors when comparing. The buttons do not lose any responsiveness with the case on. It’s fairly dust-resistant because buttons are covered and case’s cutout for the speaker is on the front as opposed to on the bottom. Speaking of the cutout for the iPhones speaker, I find it to be very unique and innovative and something all cases should adopt because it does make a difference in that it’s easier to hear sound coming out of the iPhone while looking at its screen. It is not hard to put your iphone in or take out. The edges on the front of the case come out far enough so that the screen on IPhone won’t touch the surface of whatever you lay your phone (face down) on, even with a screen protector on the iPhone. The same goes for the camera on the back of the iPhone, as the case does protrude far enough out to protect it. The opening in the case on the side for the iphone’s silent switch is open enough to easily switch silent mode on and off. This case is stated to protect your iphone from any damage when dropped up to 10 feet onto concrete. It has a very nice overall design that looks cool. Honestly, even though this case looked/sounded great I was hesitant about getting it at first only because it didn’t have many reviews but decided to get it because of the 10 total reviews, all of them were perfect 5 stars and just about all of them (8) we’re “verified”,plus I had nothing to lose because if I didn’t like it then I could just return it and get another one.UPDATE: Since the very second I put this case on my new iPhone 8 I knew it very durable and easily protect my phone from drops. I’ve had this case for about a week and I’m beyond amazed at how well built and designed this case is because I’ve dropped it numerous time with not a mark or any indication of damage to phone or case. It was really put to the test when I was sitting 15 feet high on some bleachers and I accidentally knocked my phone off the seat and it fell 15 feet onto the concrete floor below. I was very fortunate to have come across this case on amazon and couldn’t be more happy that I gave it a shot because I had this case on my phone when it fell off those bleachers and while I was initially suprised that their was absolutely no damage to my phone and just a small knick in the metal ring that surrounds this case from where it landed, afterwards I wasn’t surprised at all because the description says it exceeds military grade standards (9.9 feet) and it help up to that guarantee which no cases that I could find could give the same guarantee while being anywhere close to this thin of a case.There’s a reason why every review for this case is a five star stating that it has gone beyond expectation, it truly is an extremely high quality case.

This is a great case. I had the older model of this case and loved it! Now I have this one and it works out great! It has its signature steel/metal that is exposed around the case that makes this case look extra luxurious. It is a solid build and love how it can withstain a 15 foot drop test. The carbon fiber is just rubber or leather weaving design that looks great, but is not actual carbon fiber.

I am very particular with phone cases. I looked long and hard for the “Goldilocks” of cases - not too thin so that my new iPhone 8 would break with a light drop, and not too thick to be cumbersome even if “bullet proof”. I also wanted to be able to wireless charge now that we finally have that iPhone option. Lastly, I wanted a decent looking case. Nailed it with this case (I have the carbon fiber version). It has very good corner protection, grippy sides and top/bottom, camera lens protection, raised sides for screen protection, charges in my new wireless charger, and is really sharp looking. I also appreciate how they directed the bottom speaker grill to angle towards the front - works great! So, it’s only been a few days, but this is what I was looking for. No drops as of yet, so if it breaks with a drop I will update my review. As of now I recommend this case and will be getting one for my wife (likely the leather version).

I like the case a lot. It fits like a glove. It has a nice feel to it. I like the leather on the back of it. It’s not very bulky either. It looks classy and refined.Updated. Read my catastrophic failure review. Fell apart after three months. Not good for such an expensive case.

We ordered three of these, at first we liked them. Seemed sturdy, but less than two months and all three are falling apart. All three of them the rubber ring is coming away from the plastic portion of the case. Poor quality, even for price I can buy a case at the dollar store that last longer than this. Do not waste your money!

Has lasted longer than any other case I’ve owned. I’m generally responsible with my phone, but I have dropped it more than I care to admit. This case has saved my phone every time. I’ve owned it for a while and the only damage is some near cosmetic chipping. It is comfortable to hold; not bulky or sharp. The rubber buttons for volume and power are responsive. All around a solid choice for daily use.

Overall, I really like the case. The 'carbon fiber' material has a good feel to it and the aluminum accent adds a nice visual appeal. The aluminum is offset from the outside edge, which helps keep it from getting dinged and scratched if the phone is dropped. The cutout around the camera lens and flash is precise and looks good. (Unlike some cases that simply cut out the entire corner) The volume control and power buttons work well and are easy to push. For the most part, it's a unique, good looking case that provides excellent protection.The drawbacks: It took 3 tries to get a good case. The first one arrived and the cutout for the lightning cable didn't line up, so I was unable to plug the cable into the phone. The second case arrived and part of the aluminum accent was separated from the case. Third one seems good.Also, even when the cutout for the lightning cable does line up, its still not great. It seems slightly off center; you can plug in a factory lightning cable, but any other cable will have interference on one edge.As always, Amazon was great with the returns/exchanges and I ended up with a case I like.
