The branding iron worked well. The shaft was slightly bent and the hole for the shaft was not centered so using it required a slight rocking action to ensure an even imprint.

I was a little taken aback by delivery time, though, it arrived sooner than expected. I wasn't surprised of the product origin, as far as I could tell, China. The quality was outstanding, with patient even heat applied, and patient time lapse, the imprint was clear, sharp and crisp...….I was more than happy, price was very reasonable. The KEY is "even heating" and patient application and time lapse. IMPORTANT NOTE: This impression was made on BIRCH Shop grade Plywood (good flat, even, stable surface)

Really good quality .. first time using the iron. Make sure you heat it about 8 minutes using a gas stove and practice on scrap wood before branding your finished project. The seller also has great communication and fast shipping. A+ Product
