The picture quality is better than a 1080p camera but IMHO not 4K
The cameras are well made and so far have remained waterproof and snow proof during our -20F Maine winters. The light works but i'm not sure i want to advertise where each camera is located. They are definatly not for illumination as they cast very little light. The alarm is a bit of a joke as it's hard to hear when you are just 15 feet away and certainly not a deterrent to any would be intruder! All in all for the price i paid the cameras work well enough. But one day i would really like to find a true 4K camera as i would class these as 4K lite at best. Ohh and as for color night vision you can only see color if you have some additional light source lighting the scene.Update 5-02-2021Ordered and received a second camera which i have just tested and works as new although the condition of the camera is not as good as the first the picture quality is the same which is really all that matters to me..
