I have frequent allergy attacks that cause a persistent and nagging, unproductive cough. I use this product to reduce the coughing, and it does a wonderful job. I was having a hard time finding this medication in my local drugstores, so I was thrilled to find it on Amazon and available for auto ship. I ordered it and put it on auto ship. I try hard to only use a medication for the least amount of time necessary, so I recently cancelled my auto ship order because I was getting more product than I needed at the time. Once I have worked through my backlog, I will gladly order it again.

Having contracted the virus again my health care providers recommended I use an OTC cough suppressant. The taste of that cherry syrup was definitely NOT something I wanted to consume again so found it in capsule form. It was effective and extremely helpful at night to minimize my coughing so I could sleep. It works as quickly as the expensive liquid cough medication without the taste issue.

Any OTC cough suppressant I've tried that says 8 hours seems to only work for 4-5. This is no different, but I didn't expect it to be so I wasn't disappointed.It did what I expected for the 2-3 nights I needed it, so I'm satisfied. I so rarely get sick that these will expire before I use them up, but I'd buy them again if/when that time comes.

The product gets 5 stars, but the bottle it is in is more than 3 times the size it should be and its shape makes getting the pills out difficult. If you don't have an extra bottle to put the pills in, it may not be worth the $ savings.

It takes 2 of the pills to equal one of Coricidin’s which is good if your cough is mild (can take less) Still taking 2, it is cheaper than the brand name. These are gel instead of pills which is usually good but each gel cap is 2 times the size of the Coricidin. I have laryngeal cancer & need these to control coughing for healing. It’s very difficult to swallow the larger pill but normally I’d prefer the gel as those are easier to swallow even if larger. Overall, it’s a good product and does save money so I recommend them!

The bottle design is just plain dumb. When you get down to your last 10 or so pills you'll struggle and waste an unnecessary amount of time trying to get them through the opening. Other than that, the pills themselves get the job done. They'll put you in the right headspace and are perfect if you're looking to travel without leaving your home ;)

These gel caps are so much easier to take than the liquid cough syrup and work just as well.
