These are very heavy and sturdy snap clip carabiners. They work perfect for attaching a rope to a boat or a strap to a tent. I am using them to attach a hold down strap to my ice shelter/hut (4 person size). The attach quickly and easily to the attachment ring of a ice shelter/hut or to the ice anchor. I only needed a couple so I'll probably use the others to clip my anchor to my raft. We'll see how they hold up in the cold and the water. If they don't perform, I'll update this review, but I'd be surprised if they didn't hold up. They are very heavy for a snap clip carabiner.

I have a shopping cart where the front-side opens up. It's a nice feature to have as I can insert items into the cart from that direction, but the issue is that sometimes the front side would open up when it shouldn't have (i.e. this would occur if the cart had quite a few things). These hooks locked the front in place and prevent the front from opening up. Exactly what I needed.

I have a photo studio with a ceiling mounted steel grid that I attach my flood and flash lighting to. As a safety precaution, I have lengths of small chain with one of these added, and I use the chain looped around the support system and a bracket on the light with both ends of the chain attached to each other using one of these spring hooks. Should the attachment of the light to the support grid fail, the light will just fall a short distance and be caught by the safety chain, preventing injury to the light and those under it.

If you're looking for small carabiner's for light application these work very well.

While I have not done any weight testing on these, these are NOT aluminum. They have heft to them, and should hold some weight. The spring in the clip is also pretty good. I was worried I was paying a lot of money for these, but after getting them, I think it was a fair price. I wouldn't go mountain climbing with them or do anything that needed to have significant weight on it in a life threatening way, but to clip some moderately heavy stuff together, these will work.

9/10 are built well, feel like a strong close. The knock off, different size, was broken on arrival. So 4 stars based only 9 of them being the real deal. Said it was sold but the vendor, not sure what happened.

Product came quickly and right size for what i needed. Seems sturdy and well made. Using it to support cable for string lights.

These are made from aluminum and the only stainless component is the spring used to keep the door closed. If I wanted aluminum, I could have bought 30x for the same price as these.

This product is not stainless steel and does not have the interlocking clasp feature as shown in the photograph.

Totally disappointed. The body of the carabiner is all aluminum. Very light weight.The snap part has some stainless bits.
