Good care was taken in packaging this very nice looking frame.

Good packaging, delivered quickly. The frame was nothing special, but I did not mind cheap for the purpose I had in mind. It actually looks good in its simplicity. The plastic, however, was cloudy, pitted, and terribly scratched. The product was unusable. I do not know what could have caused the scratches. It does not seem like it could have happened in transit. If that were the case, if the frame was bouncing in the packaging, then the scratches would have been very short, perhaps circular. But these were a lot of several inch long gouges. It seemed as though someone rubbed it on concrete, intending to scratch it. Some reviews say that certain frame sizes feature glass while others have plastic. This was the 16x20. Avoid.Update 02/02/18 - I am a doofus. I just ordered another frame from another company, and I thought it had the same issue, cloudy with scratches. But that frame had instructions to remove the plastic film from the plexiglass. Doing so resulted in a perfectly clear plastic panel. So then I thought "I wonder if that other frame also had plastic film over the plexiglass panel?" Sure enough. Now it looks perfectly clear. I wish there had been instructions. I did not realize these panels had plastic film on them (both sides, if that helps anyone).

These are my favorite frames. I honestly don't think I will ever buy another brand. I love the fact that they don't use glass but you can't tell. It's plexiglass but looks like real glass. Super lightweight and easy to hang with command strips. I have an old house with plaster walls so I can't use nails to hang pictures. These are perfect! And they look really nice.

Bought frames three different times. All very good quality. The fourth arrived different than the first three. Customer service was outstanding when I called to complain about the difference in the wood dimensions and quality. It was determined Amazon did not send my order from Craig's Frames, but from some other supplier. Amazon was very helpful in figuring the problem, sent me a link to use to be sure I get what I want.

Keeping in mind that this is plexiglass and very basic I was happy with this frame. I purchased it because I could not afford the frame I wanted at the time, so I thought to buy it as a means to hold a valuable print until a time when I could. It also matched the other frame I have hanging close to where I plan on hanging the print. Now that they are both hanging together in the same area, there is nothing about this one that looks cheap. It also is much lighter than a traditional glass frame, so hanging was simple. I was also pleasantly surprised to find everything I needed for hanging was included. It would be a great frame for hanging posters and things in a child's room because you would not need to worry about them possibly beaning themselves with it, as it is so light.

Description says it fits a 16x20 print (viewing area “slightly smaller”) but the inside frame opening only measures 14x20, which is not usable with a 16x20 mat or print. This was a replacement frame as the first one arrived cracked and chipped, although the box wasn’t damaged….now this one has to be returned also! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

A bit expensive but it did the job. Fast delivery and matches my many other black frames.
