Used it on bluestone to create bullnose and did the job well with hardly any wear on toolThe cutting action happens in the back stroke position and the amount of material removed is a function of how much in ward pressure you apply against the stoneLesson learnt is to approach with modest pressure and even strokes which is the slower approach but this way doesn’t not mess with arc cut or straight edge you are trying to profileIt does the job well just don’t go ape trying to remove all at once take it easy and spend time and intermittent wetting of the stone helpsJob for outside due to dust

I don't know how fast these things are at grinding a bullnose on granite, but this one seems to take forever and that's with pregrinding the edge top and bottom with a diamond turbo cup wheel. I even bought a nice water fed variable speed grinder. It took me over an hour to do a 5 1/2 foot edge.
