I needed 6mm for fretboard dots and this was right on the money. Not exactly a flat bottom like a Forstner but worked just fine. Not a lot to choose from.

This is a great bit, easily goes through wood, carbon, kydex, and Aluminum. Not sure what all of the people are doing that can’t run it through 3/4” plywood, it’s plenty long for that.Mine cut a 12mm hole +.001

I am only using this to drill in plastic which this type of bit isn't the best for that but it was my best option and it does get the job done. I needed a 10mm hole and this does just that very well.

The item worked as it was suppose to, it produced an accurate hole. Good product.

I ordered this and some magnets of the same size and they surprisingly work great. I drill a hole and the magnets go in and stay without the need of glue. It’s amazing so this is a true 6mm bit

This is a very short bit; beware! However, it is precise; there is no wobble of the center brad point when turning in the drill press, unlike cheap brad point bits. I bought this because another supplier provided shipment of so-called 1/2" dowels that turned out to be 12 mm in diameter. The 12 mm dowels fit perfectly in the holes drilled by this bit.

I bought this and the 8mm version for end drilling pen blanks on the lathe. The short length and carbide cutting edge do a great job at keeping the holes on center. Finish of the tool is as one would expect at this price point, but they work better than they look.

the brad point and wings contact the material at the same time causing it to wander really bad, and it claims to be 12mm but is 12.38mm.
