Thin flimsy junk!
The brackets are very thin and flimsy. They might keep a gate closed, but definitely NOT recommended if actual security is a concern...

Bought these for a chicken run gate. They are made of a thinner gauge SS, but they're not flimsy at all. They'll likely last my lifetime, which for the price is quite a deal. They're very shiny, and I checked them for magnetism to make sure they're SS as advertised.
