This book is a fun way to introduce deductive thinking and Holmes and Watson. It is a bit easier than I expected but the adult book from this series is too hard (children 6 and 10). But they ask to use it so that is great

Gave it to granddaughter, who loves Encyclopedia Brown type books. Some "mysteries" were challenging, some she completed right away. Good mix.

My daughter really enjoyed solving the puzzles in this book. The retro style illustrations are awesome and there are a variety of puzzles to solve.
