The first thing that comes to mind with this product is the kinda 'crispy' feeling it creates when you have this under your bedsheets. So when you lie on it or run your hand over the sheets there's this very shallow, soft feeling of crispness coming through the bedsheets.Now I really like this feeling! To me it kind of simulates a fresh feeling even if that isn't the case but each person is different I guess!In terms of the protective element, we bought a new mattress and that was the reason for buying a protector. Our new mattress is spotless and I'm sure we have this protector to thank for that - which is why we bought more!

Absolutely brilliant so good I've bought 4 and would buy again. Having 2 grandchildren under 5 one whose nappies occasionally leak and one who still had accidents these do exactly what they say ,nothing has got thought to the mattresses and they wash really well. I've only line dried or radiator dried so not sure if they would tumble dry and still be efficient. Definitely worth 5 stars 😊 plus they are comfortable and soft and fit well 👌
