10 Pack - Video Tape Transfer and Digitization to MP4 Service (VHS, Hi8, MiniDV, Digital8, VHS-C, Beta, Audio)

My family had always meant to get our old camcorder home videos digitized, but never did. They sat for years I watched. After losing my Mom earlier this year and my Dad 12 years ago, I decided to take the leap and get them converted to digital and DVD. I have heard that it could take weeks or months to get them converted. I mailed my tapes on a Tuesday and received the Google drive when I woke up that Friday morning! They’re were so quick and the quality is fantastic. I thought that the quality may have diminished over the years, but I was wrong! I highly recommend Lotus Media to convert your old home videos. The turn around time was incredibly fast. They brought back so many memories and it was very emotional being able to see my parents again, I had forgot how my father’s voice sounded. I was completely satisfied with the service provided by lotus media. I shipped my VHS, 8mm tapes and the work was completed immediately. I couldn't believe it. I shipped my items from Puerto Rico. This is the third time I've used the Lotus Media transfer service. This time I sent in 10 Hi-8 camcorder tapes and received a link to download all videos in less than a week. Every transfer was very clean with great video quality especially considering that several of these tapes were over 25 years old! I've already been able to share some of these videos with family and friends as well as create both DVD and cloud backups to make sure these memories stay safe into the future.

The media could not be loaded. I would have rated 5 Stars except for how receiving the service was confusion.I bought the 10 pack service. Once they received the tapes the turn around for the product was very quick.Quality of the transfer from Digital8 tapes to MP4 is very good. 2 tapes were from 2003.I was mainly interested in transferring my tapes from our mission trip to Kenya. The uploaded video clip is a segment where the cross was being hung on the church in Maasai land we helped build. Colors look good and sound is good. If only I had High Def back then.On the confusion about receiving the service, Amazon shows a USPS delivery. I was expecting to receive instructions and possibly a shipping label via USPS. Instead it's a dummy letter to themselves. I assume this it to provide tracking information to Amazon. The instructions are sent to you in an email and you are told to ignore the Amazon shipping info. Good ol' me assumed that email was just confirmation they had received the order.The service purchased does not include shipping of tapes to them. Shipping is extra. Requesting the return of the tapes is an extra shipping expense. Once I understood all this, the shipping and turnaround on the service went smoothly.Download from Google Drive was easy too. I did not order videos on any type of media. This is an extra cost and it is clear in the instructions and as I recall in the Amazon product description.

Old tapes just lie in a box for years just getting OLDER with no real way to watch them. Lotus Media turned my old VHS and 8 MM around in days to a high quality format. My wife loves looking at them as it brings back great memories. Converting old videos is the perfect project to do during these stay at home times. I was nervous about mailing all my old memories to an unknown company, but they were great. They called and let me know they received the videos and within days, they are loaded to a Google drive for easy download. I also bought each converted tape on a thumb drive which is an added service, plus they will ship back my original tapes. I'm not sure why I wanted the old tapes back, but in some weird way just made me feel safer that I still have them (even though I can't play them on any modern day device). Highly Recommend!

I was considering attempting to digitize my MiniDV tapes myself, but went this route instead. Glad I did! Super easy and fast and the quality is great.
