Great product
Installed these stair treads on my staircase and the are well worth the money. Easy to install, looks great and above all the do not slip. My older dog who has fallen down the steps before I installed them can now run up and down without slipping and falling. The really work well.

Look great!
Installed in minutes . They "stick" down well .... better than i thought they would. Bought these because we have an older dog who has been slipping and sliding on the stairs as she is losing her eyesight. She is doing a lot better on the stairs now that we have put these down. Good product.

Great for price
We needed these for our dog to navigate our hardwood stairs. Easy to apply (they've been on my stairs for several months now and still look good), you can cut them to size (I used mine full size). They are slightly heathered (I bought dark brown and they come with a slight white fiber throughout) and this camoflages some of my yellow lab's white hairs. I would give them a 4 for cleaning- I use my vaccum and because they are ridged, its not a one and done sweep but not too difficult. Prior to purchasing, I did see one reviewer say that this product came with a white bottom which was visible after application. I circumvented that by painting the side of each tread with dark brown acrylic paint and let dry overnight prior to application. This colored the white pad perfectly and you can no longer see it. While not highly padded, perfect for my dog! Helps us humans when we wear socks too.

These are perfect for my needs!
I am living in a rental home for the next 9 months while my new home is being built. I needed to find something to put on the wood stairs - they are so slippery! These work great! They adhere beautifully, without the need for a sticky backing that could possibly ruin the wood steps. These steps are used daily by 3 adults and a very active dog - they stay put and make the steps so much safer!

Perfect for Basement stairs
Recently painted our basement stairs and added these treads. They are non-slip but non adhesive on the backing. The top is carpet, with texture. Very nice for the cellar, but looks cheap for a living area. We had more treads then needed so I tried one on carpeted stairs in the living room and it both slips and doesn’t look nice. However they are perfect for other areas.

mediocre quality
These treads are just OK. They're cheap quality for what you pay. They only stick marginally to hard wood, so I had to use carpet tape. And for a few of them, the top part is separating from the bottom grey bit, so they do not look good. But they do serve the purpose of allowing my dog more confidence going up and down the stairs. Just wish they were better made.

I'm a fan
These are great. I was a little skeptical, but they do the job. Color is good and works well with my oak steps, Adhesion is good and they were easy to apply. They don't shift, and the maids vacuum them without them peeling up. Easy to clean. My dog likes them - easier to walk up and down the stairs. And I like them - easier on the knees and more traction.

Happy with these
I bought these to provide traction on a DIY bare wood pet window perch with steps. They were easy to install and stay in place well enough for my use. I think they're probably meant to be used on finished wood...would adhere better...but they don't slide around on the bare wood unless I'm deliberately checking them (testing them on painted wood shows greater adherence). The dog doesn't dislodge them going up/down.The treads are soft and comfortable to bare feet. I would use these in a heartbeat on painted/shellacked stairs meant for human use.

Great product
Only recently laid the brown lined treads, so I can’t speak to the durability, but for look and installation, one of the best products I’ve bought. I was worried that they would be glued to my varnished stairs, but they aren’t. It’s a clever “sticky” backing that isn’t glue, yet holds the tread firmly in place. They can be placed and replaced easily and so installation is a breeze. They look great and will reduce the accidents from slipping off the varnished steps, considerably.

Sometimes, things are not as they seem..
I wrongly expected some kind of glue, as a clear film was to be removed before instalation and I was going to return the item, thinking it was not going to be good enough. However, I was wrong, works perfectly well so far and I may add an adhive spray in the furture. But, they have not moved yet. So, time will tell..

Usure rapide
Bon tapis faciles d'installation. Par contre, ils s'usent rapidement au bord des marches. Les poils s'étirent et pour que ça reste beau, je dois les couper.

Only worked for a while.
These tread covers are very easy to apply and work well for a while. Within the first 6 months a few of them had the upper layer separating from the layer attached to the stair tread. Now10 months later I have replace all of them. This is dangerous and your foot may become caught between the layers when going up the stairs. These stairs lead to my finished basement so infrequently used and only used by 1 person. At this frequency of use they would last a very short while if used by a family or pets on stairs that are often used . I now have to replace all of them before there is an accident, becoming more costly than I initially expected.
