TooltronRabbit Scissors

I bought a $27 pair of embroidery scissors which I like very well, but was then curious about what one gets for one third of that price. So with no moderation at all I proceeded to buy 4 more pairs of less expensive scissors for comparative purposes. I bought cute looking scissors as that is a requirement along with scissor functionality. This is what I found when I tried these "Tooltron Rabbit Scissors".These are sharp scissors at a reasonable price. They are sharp enough to cut through 1 layers of felt with ease but not 2 layers. The tip is reasonably fine for intricate cutting and they are sharp to the tip of the scissors and they snip threads cleanly and evenly. The scissors are 4" which I have found to be a good size for embroidery scissors. The scissors have a comfortable feel, The finger holes are large enough to fit my fingers (I wear a size 7 glove which is on the large side of normal for a woman)They are a really cute design.RESULT: I will keep and use these scissors. As they do not cut more than one layer of felt well, I will reserve these scissors for projects where I just need thread cut. I think they would make an excellent gift, as the design is novel and they do what they advertise - cut thread and yarn. They are cute, sharp Italian scissors, but not nearly as good as my $27 Italian pair!

Nice scissors. Nice and sharp! Great addition to my scissors collection. Works well with my needlework. Unusual shape uncomfortable for my hand.

I love these whimsical scissors and have the rooster as well. Come out with other designs and I'll have to have them.
