I'd give it five stars, but it didn't come with any fasteners (screws). So remember to keep the old ones if you're buying this to replace an older unit!

Couldn’t find these types of doorbell anywhere now. I was trying to find a replacement and thank god I found this one or else I have to replace the whole system. The only thing I have to complain about is the buttons, it feels a bit loose and cheaply made. Other than that is a good replacement.

This item you cannot locate in your local big box stores. It's a must have as a replacement if you live in an older home. Even if it were to only last a few years I'd repurchase in a heartbeat.

This is a pretty good two button system. However, the buttons are hard to depress if the person has arthritis. Very nice presentation for a two button system.

A reliable button that hasn't changed in 50 years. I install them every six years or so, the brass contacts corrode here by the ocean. There is no County of Origin on any of the packaging, so I don't kn ow if the manufacturer has turned to Chinese prison labor. I'd gladly pay more for a bit better quality; I get tired of changing these, though the problem may be the salt air in my environment. If you need an old school push button, this fits the bill nicely.

The switch quality not that good. I hope it lasts a few years.

My house is about 150 years old, and who knows how old the doorbell push button station was, possibly older than me. I was delighted to find a close match for the failed button with just a few minutes of looking. The new one looks beautiful, and as far as I can tell is an exact duplicate, inside and out.

Had to replace the old doorbell with an exact match. This is not the highest quality item but it does work as advertised. If you can upgrade from this, you should. Would buy again but only out of necessity.
