Exactly what I hoped for... Perfect replacement.
I have an old Overhead Door Legacy 1/2 H.P. Model 696CD/B garage door opener (Model ACSR1O) and was having trouble locating replacement remotes that would work, since our original Genie ones died...I came across these since they had the best overall reviews and seemed to span quite a few brands. Needless to say they were exactly what were needed, and we are happy with the sleek design and quick setup. I did initially have some difficulty getting these to Learn/Connect, as the instructions that came with the remotes didn't exactly match what was needed to make them work. (...likely just due to the age of our garage door opener)Credit to the original poster (LBaileyAR), who gave the instructions to make this work!FOLLOWED THESE STEPS:1. Remove the battery cover on the remote. Press and hold its black program button until the blue LED light on the remote comes on and remains steady.2. Select which of the remote's outside buttons you want to program to open your door. Press and release that button 6 times, making sure that the LED light stops flashing between each press.3. Go back inside the remote and press the black program button once. The blue LED light on the remote should turn off.4. Now go to your garage door opener. Press and release the opener's LEARN button. The LED light (red on mine) should flash continuously.5. Press the selected button on your remote control 3 times. On the third press, the you garage door opener should activate if the programming was successful. If not successful, repeat the above steps, but in step 2, press the remote button only 5 times.---Some quick notes:-Quality seems pretty good-Sleek design-Range of the remote is MUCH better than our previous remotes (very responsive)-Visor clips seem strong and hold well-Price for two remotes is reasonable-Very happy that these worked with older garage door opener units

Excellent price, works perfectly with 1995 Genie dip switch garage door opener
I had a very specific need for a remote that works with 1995 Genie dipswitch security garage door opener. In 2020 I installed a brand new in the box older Genie opener on the second garage door, I had installed the same model opener many years prior on the other door. This opener can be programmed to work with both doors. Works awesome, very good range. The included instruction booklet is more than adequate. No difficult but I had to play with programming a couple of times before I got it. On the Genie dip switch door opener, you set the dipswitches on the remote to match the pattern on your garage door opener. Then press and hold the button per the instructions until the LED on the remote flashes as listed in the instructions. Then press the button you are programming the number of times per the instructions. In my case I wasn't sure which was the correct number of times. I recall that with mine I had to press the button 13 times. You know you are successful when after pressing the button on the remote X number of times, the garage door opener responds and opens the door. It was like magic. So glad to find something that works for an excellent price. If you can find a Genie brand universal remote, it costs at least 1 1/2 times what this costs, and it only has one button not two. Well worth it, works perfectly, doesn't have to be programmed again after battery change.

Synced easily to garage door motor
We recently moved into a new house and the garage door openers were old, dingy and sticky. The buttons were finicky and you never knew if it would work to open/close the door.I found this 2-pack and decided to give it a try. Sync to our garage door was extremely simple - followed the steps and had both remotes programmed in less than give minutes. I really like that there are 2 buttons as I was able to sync with my parent's garage door which makes it easier when visiting. My ONLY complaint is the remote itself and buttons feel pretty cheap/flimsy. It works great and is much better than our old ones, but it does feel like it may fall apart after a few years of use. Given the price, however, I'm going to stick it out and hope for the best because they're a great size and were really easy to use!

These universal remote are the best value for the money.
This is my second time purchasing these universal garage remotes. I buy them for my small business to aid in additional services to my customers. They are easy to program with all of the different brands of garage openers. There is no need to buy those more expensive brand name ones.I can’t attest to the longevity of them as they do seem to be made of plastic but, I haven’t had a customer call me back about them breaking or not working in the past 4 years I have used them. You can buy 2 of these for less than the price of 1 name brand, which to me is a real good value.

Finicky and not reliable
I’ve had this remote for about two years now. It is extremely sensitive to the point of malfunctioning. If I press the button one time, the garage door starts to go down then goes and freezes as if the button is pressed twice. It seems like the transmitter is sending out multiple signals at the same time. You literally have to hold the button down for two seconds to make the garage door go up or down without being interrupted. If you push it once, expect your garage door to start moving and then freeze again. I’ve tried this on two different garage doors, my house and my mothers house. Both with the same results. Now it appears the garage door opener is activating itself, as if there may be a short in the system. For the last three days, my garage door has been randomly opening and closing itself with my car is parked in the garage.
