Amazing for hiking!!!
My husband and I took a 3 weeks vacation and stayed in glacier national park and hiked as much as we could. Long hikes and small ones with our 5 month almost 6 month old. She LOVED it and it was very comfortable for us. A little heavy for me to carry her so my husband had her almost the entire time but he loves it. There’s a lot of support and the built in sun cover was awesome. Baby was able to fall asleep comfortably and the storage on the inside is perfect!!! Was able to store bottles and food for us three and more! Don’t even look at the price just buy it. Worth every penny.

Great carrier for hiking with baby!
Awesome carrier for hiking! My 9 month old loved riding in this carrier and was comfortable enough to fall asleep mid hike. The sun shade is a great feature and kept the baby very well protected on a sunny day. This carrier is well made, as expected from Osprey, and is also surprisingly light weight for it's size. There's a large selection of different pockets for storing gear and baby supplies which meant we could carry everything we needed for a long hike in one bag! Super happy with his purchase, worth the price!

Love!
I love this pack so much. It has made life on the farm and going on walks and hikes so much easier with a baby. I use it daily. My only complaint is that the material on the straps for the adult is rough and I can’t wear a tank top without it rubbing my skin and causing uncomfortable red marks. Even with that being said, I still give this pack 5 stars. It’s not a big deal to just wear a tshirt instead. My son is currently 25 lbs at 7 months old and he is very comfortable inside. The nap pad is great and he uses it every time I put him in it. The straps for him are comfortable and secure. The sunshade is awesome! There’s room for your phone, wallet, car keys, a couple water bottles, and maybe even more because I haven’t completely gone through this pack yet. I do feel like if I was any smaller this pack might not work for me. I am 5’4 and it took some time to get the right fit.

BEST PRODUCT EVER!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
We love this back pack. Very easy to adjust for size of baby/toddler.My husband and grandbaby love using it.So easy to adjust for size and needs. Takes the weight off the shoulders and onto the hips, just what a good back pack should do. We are not taking long hikes with it, but great for doing out door tasks because you are hands free. Works great using the four wheeler going out into the woods, going down our hunting trails and pulling camera chips. When working in the barn, I adjust the seat a little higher so baby can see over my husbands shoulder better, then with a quick and easy adjustment I lower the seat when walking/moving...baby is now 13 months and loves it. As soon as we pull it out he knows he is going with Gramps to see and experience great things. LOVE IT!!!! 110%

Durable and comfortable!
I bought this for a hiking trip with a middle school youth group. My son was 3 at the time, 48 pounds, and incapable of hiking the full 6 miles. This backpack was perfect! Even though we were on the heavier end of this backpack's capacity, I was able to adjust straps to relieve shoulder and lower back pressure/pain. My son enjoyed riding in it, and though he is a larger toddler, he fit snuggly and comfortably. There is plenty of storage on the bottom for accident clothes and snacks. We purchased a water bladder that we inserted between myself and my son. There was plenty of space for that as well!It was easy to set up, easy for him to get into, and easy to adjust. I wish I had thought of getting this sooner, so I could use it more often and bring him on more hikes.

Very comfortable for wearer and baby!
This pack is massive!!! But looking at all the other packs on the trail, it wasn’t much different in size then other brands. I am 5’4” 125lbs and was able to carry my baby comfortably for several days wearing him in this. Upwards of 7mile hikes over rocks, sand, etc and he was comfortable the entire time. He would take naps in the pack - especially morning naps. Thin blanket rolled up in front helped him get extra cozy but he is only 8 months old so on the smaller side of the minimum height and weight requirements. Huge bonus was that this pack has a built in sun shade - so necessary! I also like that the sides have the mesh shade so 1) he can’t stick his head out of the side and maybe get whacked by a tree limb and 2) so he doesn’t stick his head out the side and get sunburned- defeating the purpose of the sun shade in the first place. 3) shades even more sun when hiking in morning or evening and sun is coming in from an angle. My husband is 6’2” and was also very comfortable wearing this pack. A feature we really liked is being able to adjust the pack for our different heights in a few seconds with the flip of a clip. Made switching him to the other parent mid hike very efficient.Lots of storage space in the pocket in the bottom. We didn’t need to bring any other bag with us bc there was so much room for all of our babies items plus water bottles and snacks for us. We didn’t have a water bladder this last trip but the zippered pouch directly in the back looks big enough to hold one. I also really like the zippered pockets on the hips - we stored snacks for our son to hand off quickly while hiking. The kick stand does need to be open to use the bottom pouch. For a more streamline look you can fold the kickstand in and not use that part as storage.Overall, completely worth the price!

Great carrier, needs more water storage
Pros: not too heavy, easy to use, comfortable for baby, decent storage, great shade coverage that’s easy to get in and outCons: the hole for the bladder is small. People backpacking with a baby need a bladder bigger than 1.5 l. Even putting that amount in was challenging. Then my back pushed on the bladder hose and kept detaching it causing water to leak. This is with the hydrapak 1.5 L bladder. The straps also need a way of securing so they aren’t dangling everywhere. White was a poor choice for strap color but that’s just cosmetic.

Exactly what you expect
Osprey does not disappoint. We regularly hike 8+ miles and this thing is a dream. It has tons of storage space (snacks, diapers, wipes, roll up mat, and water) in the base for my son, wife and myself. Two deep water bottle pockets and adjustability every which way. The only thing that takes some getting use to is putting it on with a baby in it. Haha.. highly recommend
