52 Sales Management Tips: The Sales Managers' Success Guide

Pleasantly surprised.
52 Sales Management Tips was not what I was expecting. I was, of course, thinking of 200+ pages and a ton of reading to have to find time for. I was up for it, but I'm sure you know how that goes....I was surprised when I went to highlight something that my Kindle app reported I was already 15% of the way through the book. I looked around and saw what I had gotten: basically all the highlighting already done on the 200+ pager I thought I was going to have to find time for.Just to be clear -- I was pumped about this.I have opened up 52 Tips several times when I had a few minutes and buzzed through a dozen of the 52 tips. I take one or two and put them in my daily journal as things to think about. As I work my way through them, I'm sure I will find some things I need to do differently and be reminded the stuff I believe in really does works. In the end, that's what I want. A book that ignites thought and creativity. That's what I got in a surprising format. Thanks for a quick, powerful read. It will reside in the Kindle app on my iPhone for years to come.

Some good, practical concepts
If you are looking for a quick read, with some very practical and grounded concepts, this is the right book. If you are searching for a deeply insightful guide to reinvent your entire philosophy and approach to sales leadership, you may find the content here a bit lacking in substance.

K.I.S.S. for front line sales managers
I just loved this book! Because it was written by Steven Rosen I was willing to commit some time to it, but I was thrilled with the format of the book and the content. I have been a sales manager for over 15 years, and a student of sales management. Along the way, I work very hard to try to remember all of the behaviors and techniques I want to use to create High Performance Sales Teams. Steve's book provides me my "Cheat Sheet" in a very well formatted and simple to use format. Each of his 52 suggestions are things I have used but I never seem to always put the right idea at the right time. Steven's book helps me do this and reminds me of other activities to make sure are in place.Great job Steven! This will remain on the top of my desk for years to come!Coach Hughes[...]

Really not worth the money
I bought this book as it was listed on two separate best 12 lists. It's even worse than most reviewers have stated at 65 pages as the first 20 pages are just mutual backslapping praise leaving just 45 pages. Some of the tips are valuable to be balanced but some are blindingly obvious like time is finite! You could argue he's a master salesman if he can get people to pay £6.99 or more for this!I bought this as it was the cheapest book on both lists but missed looking at the reviews - so if your smarter than I was pay the extra £12 or so and buy one of the others on the 12 best lists...

Buy different book instead
This book is ridiculous. It's only 64 pages long, has loads of blank pages, font is size 14 or 16 with huge line spacing as if it was written for primary school. It even has typos.Content is vary vague, no examples for tips and they are very generic. Not worth £8 and there's better books for the same price on the same subject.

Pure insightful logic
A great reminder of what you already know but have forgotten and an introduction to simple but effective new concepts.

Waste of time
This cannot be the same book that others have given 5 star reviews to? It's incredibly basic. Anyone that has been in sales for more than 5 minutes will know 99% of the advice this book contains. It needs a huge amount of development as in it's current state, it reads like a draft of a book.

What a load of rubbish
The authors tips are useless. The so-called tips don't actually tell you how to do anything. Everything in there is stuff even someone with little common sense would already know. Most of the tips read like space-saving words - something simple to fill up the pages. I'm annoyed at having parted with money for this.
