I found ordering a larger spool of all cotton thread is a lot cheaper then purchasing the spools at the fabric store, I used this thread to make microwave covers and I needed 100% cotton. I was getting it at the local fabric store after going through 3 spools I decided to try this, it's the same brand I was using from the store only larger and a lot less cost, I had no issues using it and will definitely purchase again.

My all time favorite thread! I've tried the higher prices threads and plenty of lower price. I always come back to gutterman. Never splits or breaks. Smooth, thin but not too thin. Doesn't lint up my machine too bad. The price is fair and I've never been disappointed with the quality.Shipped fast with prime.

Using this for making masks, with my Viking sewing machine, which is picky about thread. It works like a dream. I'll never buy any other thread!

I quilt and have been sewing face masks to I'm using a lot of thread. Love this bigger spool and the quality is great - no knots. I've finally found a quality thread and it is the only brand I will now use.

This thread is very fine, more like serger thread. It is not the same a Gutermann thread on a spool. I was unable to produced a balanced stitch with this thread, while Gutermann from a spool works fine.

It leaves so much lint I am constantly cleaning it out. Have never had thread do this before. Actually gummed up machine, and I am very picky about cleaning my machine. Don’t know if because from amazon, but will not buy from here again. Will buy from shops.

The description says Sandy Gray, but upon arrival, I would have to say it’s more Sandy Beige not really a gray tone at all.

Love the Gutermann cotton thread and it is my first choice for machine quilting and piecing. I do a lot of both on a Hadiquilter and a Bernina and have far fewer breakages and tension problems with Gutermann than any other threads. I wish they had a larger color variety in the cones.

Use this brand of thread in preference to others having a larger size is very useful, though I did need to construct a cone holder as my machine would not hold the size (I used a mug and a coat hanger!)

I'm using this for hand sewing and so far so good. It doesn't snap or unravel. Great quality and a fantastic price.

Good quality cotton thread and lots of it. Site beside my machine. Using it for top stitching my quilt.
