It's plastic!
Shame on me for being stupid I guess. I thought this was a real terracotta saucer. It didn't say what it was made of but since it was so much more expensive than the other rectangular saucer trays I assumed it was the real deal. Well we all know what assuming does .... and it did :/ I hope it doesn't cost a fortune to return it but it's going back.
