Follow Me
Thanks to NetGalley and Disney Book Groups for the opportunity to read and review Follow Me by Sara Shepard! The story begins with Brett and his prospects and then alternates with each of the main characters from the first book, Amateurs. Seneca is an intern handing out parking tickets, Maddox is still working on his running and wants to go to the Olympics, Aerin took a vacation and Madison is enjoying life, as she always does. Madison brings a letter to Maddox at the gym and they’re floored when they find out who it’s from and what it’s about. The Case Not Closed group is back again! The mystery, suspense and thrills are back in this sequel and so are the twists! 5 stars for another great mystery by Sara Shepard!* I received a complimentary copy of this book for voluntary consideration!

Mystery lover
Love this author and she delivered with the mystery in this book just as she did with Pretty Little Liars.

The group tracks a killer who can blend into the crowd and swap identities
The second book sees Seneca, Maddox, Aerin, and Madison tracking a chameleon-like killer after they realised at the end of the first book that he was probably the one who killed Seneca's mother and Aerin's older sister. Now social media star, Chelsea Dawson, has gone missing after a party and Chelsea looks eerily like Aerin's sister. Is the same killer involved and how can the group stop him from taking more victims? This was an improvement on the first book, the main group weren't quite so obnoxious and there was quite a clever twist at the end of the book. A couple of other things strained credibility but overall it was a quick undemanding read.

Great series, good book.
I really enjoyed the first book and liked the idea behind the series (the online mystery solvers meeting for a real life crime). As a few others have said, this book was a little slower to get into. As the title suggests it is more of a "follow me" story line versus solving on the main characters part. Things are planted versus clues being found. As per the first book, the ending makes the slower parts of the story worth it. Looking forward to the last book as hopefully it finishes the story line sufficiently, as the endings of the first two books have been great. Would suggest reading if you like the series, but comparing the first and second book, I did enjoy the first more.

Not as good as the first.
I bought this because I really enjoyed the first book. However I am having a hard time getting into this one. I’ve picked it up and put it down a couple of times. I will finish it eventually, it’s just taking longer and feels more like a chore than I was expecting after reading the first book. It almost feels like the characters weren’t developed enough to sustain interest into a second book. They seem rather wooden and the plot seems clunkier thus go around. Again I haven’t gotten very far into it, so this might be something that improves further in. I’m hoping so. It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever read but it’s also not the most engaging thing either.
