It has been a long winter with snow falling, melting, and freezing over and over again. I fell last week on a patch of ice I didn't see through the new snow, nothing broken, but I'm getting older and that stopped me for a few days! My 2 large dogs still needed walking though. I found these and ordered them, got them yesterday and headed out for a walk. We walked for 3 hours! It was wonderful! I couldn't make myself slip on the ice, they grip like crazy. I wish I had bought them 10 years ago! They are easy to slip on and off my boots too, so I don't have to worry about gouging my wooden deck.

This looks exactly what I need when wearing shoes. I take a size 13 and it did stretch to cover my shoes. I also have a pair of boots that I like to wear and I am sure this will not work well on them. I just moved to a city and live off of some steep downtown sidewalks that are almost 45 degree declines and I have three of them to converse walking to and from my parking garage. And I have a knee problem at present and really need something that will hold me in place. I would describe the product as aggressive as they cannot be worn inside without damaging tile, linoleum or wood floors. But I am looking at concrete and asphalt , so they will be very appropriate. As I wear them on ice covered side walks, I will update my experience with you.

I bought these stupid things for a weekend trip to the mountains during a snow storm. I was nervous about falling in the snow and ice. When we got up the mountain, we were going into the grocery store and the parking lot was in bad shape. I put these on over my boots and gently got out of the car. Once I got on the inside of the store, I told my hubby how good they worked. Then I looked down and my feet and neither one was there. I looked out the window of the store and there they were, right next to the car. Those damn things didn't even stay on for one step.

I love these!! At my house it gets very icy. I have fallen on the ice and it is very painful. These have a great grip I feel naked without them.They slip on very easily. I where them doing chores and on icy pavement at work.Julie

Used the ice cleats on a trip to Norway. One of the first stops on the trip the viewing area was covered with ice. Most of the group didn't get off the bus because of the ice and those that did gripped on to anything they could so they would not all and several still fell, luckily no one got hurt only some bruised egos and butts. First time I used mine, easy to put on, tried them on before leaving for the trip, I walked anywhere I wanted, yes cautiously, got all my views and pictures of the area. When we go to a shopping area about 75% of the group bought ice cleats for about three time what I paid.Value for the money, yes, plus no bruises.

Previous set lasted over 15 years before spikes wore down and really provided slip free walking. Am hoping these do the same. Everything looks the same

I would RETURN these but window is closed., not happy bc I didn't get to wear every day. I was walking tonight & felt like something was wrong & I looked down, no cleat on my right foot!! There is a strap over the top I could've used but the back where you pull it up slides right back down, nothing to do with the strap I could've worn over the top of my foot, it's like it doesn't want to stay on your boots heel, it's RUBBER so it should STAY!! NOT HAPPY & wish I wouldn't have bought!

They seemed good, but don't stay on. After falling my boots several times it fell off for good and was lost. Total waste of money. It hadn't snowed before my return period was up and now I have no product. I bought the women's 9-11 as that is my size. Maybe you should go down a size and hope they stay on.
