Not what the manufacturer intended
I needed to make a prop for a play that looked like a lamb leg on a spit. I filled the cavity with polyurethane expanding foam and painted the surface brownish. It worked perfectly!

Very disappointed to learn this is made with BPA - was not clear until it arrived - straight into the trash :(

Perfect Size and looked Great!
Used these to serve water on tables at backyard wedding celebration. Could have gotten cheaper ones, but glad I spent a few extra dollars because these looked great. Only carafes that came in 1.5 liter size, which was perfect. Was planning to use once for the event and sell them, but they're so nice I'm going to keep them.
