Got Brown sugar to make Ginger Creams or Cinnamon rolls or apple strudel:: lovely. Good value for the money. Great taste.

I purchased 5 bags and all 5 arrived a solid block, hard as a rock. Even a mallet was not able break them into a spoonable or measurable product. Also it tastes awful. A slight burnt flavor. Totally unlike normal light brown sugar in taste or texture. Even "old" brown sugar , just gets hard, but is easily beaten into a powder again. This product more resembles a "natural" large crystalline Turbino type sugar which has turned into a large crystal and also happens to have a slightly burnt plastic after taste. Creepy.I beat on it with a heavy mallet till I got fed up and tossed them all. Returning anything is just too much bother.Weird and Unusable. Don't buy.
