Very convenient to feed
We always have a couple of these in my diaper bag! We use both 2 oz and 8 oz bottles. We have taken subscription with Amazon and they are cheaper now. They worked great for the airplane as I didn't have to mess with making bottles when my little guy decided he was hungry NOW. I just wish they would make a 4 oz size as the 2 oz is now too small, but the 8 oz is too big. I'd rather use a few of the smaller size right now than risk wasting part of the 8 oz bottle.Packaging was good. The ready to feed really is very simple to use and take along with you. I'd say it's almost as easy as breasfeeding. I wish it came in a 4 oz size rather than an 8 oz size. The 2oz size is not enough (and way more expensive) and the 8oz is too much. It's fine when I'm at home and can refrigerate the extra and when I'm out I use 2 oz to avoid wastage. This is an expensive way to buy formula if you are feeding formula exclusively, but it's great if you just need it for traveling or to 'top up' your baby when he/she doesn't get enough from breastfeeding.Bottles are BPA free. Every baby is different but for us its better than Enfamil. I love this and recommend to all moms.

Abbott press release: "BPA-free" status confusing
We have been using the RTF 8 oz bottles since the birth of the baby despite the extra costs, but I've stumbled upon 2 things that are making me reconsider.Below, I've copied the statement from Abbott which Amazon also provides a limk to: In response to mothers seeking āBPA freeā products, Abbott is pleased to share that it has now achieved "BPA freeā status in all of its SimilacĀ® brand powdered infant formula products. 1 In addition to powdered formulas, most of our liquid ready-to-feed infant and toddler formulas also repeatedly have shown that no BPA is present at detectable levels, making 91 percent of our infant formula product line āBPA free.āAbbott is leading the industry in its work with government authorities, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Canada, and our suppliers. Abbott products have been tested for BPA using the most sensitive and conservative tests available, and levels are undetectable for all powdered products and consistently 50 times below international safety standards for other infant nutrition products.1) the above statement seems to indicate that while the powdered products are BPA-free, they say "most of our ready-to-feed...formulas" are found to be BPA-free suggesting that not all of them are. I tried calling the company and the rep was just reading me a script and she really couldn't address my question about whether the 8 oz bottles are tested for BPA and if "91%" of their product line are "BPA-free" which are the 9% that are not?2) the second issue is really a delivery issue that I've noted with both FedEx and UPS. I have been ordering these bottles from Amazon not because it is cheaper but for the convenience of having it delivered to my door. However, i've had some deliveries of these heavy bottles left at the leasing office of my bldg without an attempt at delivery to my third floor residence. I called UPS and while they confirmed that it is their policy to deliver all packages to the door, funny how the heavier packages ( esp since these don't require a delivery signature) don't end up at my door. The RTF bottles are convenient and easy to open but until I get a better answer from Abbott, I will probably opt out of these bottles.

Workings moms saviours
These premade bottles are the best! I wasn't able to breast feed my baby and after my csection could barely get up. These bottles are ready to go only thing u need is the nipples for the bottle. These honestly saved me.. I had them right next to me on the side of the bed at arms reach.. So I didn't strain my csection scar with constantly getting up. I tried the powder but with all the medication I was on I would make a mess with powder every where and the constant getting up and down was terrible. So painful. These bottles are also great when your going out.. Just throw them in your diaper bag and your done! No need to take water or a thermist. They don't need to be refrigerated just open them and feed the baby! Now that my baby is 3 months and I feel a lot better I only use these premade bottles at night and when I go out. During the day I use the similac powder because it's more economical.

Very easy and tastes good too.
My baby breastfed but eventually I needed to supplement. I tried several different formulas and my baby just did not like them. I read somewhere that the Similac Ready to Feed tasted better than other formulas and didn't have a grainy texture like the powders. I decided to do a taste test myself and I too found that it had a pleasant taste (a little sweet like breastmilk) and did not have a bad smell like the powders. So I began feeding my baby 1/2 formula and 1/2 breastmilk and he took it without any problem. After a few weeks of that process I was able to move to 100% formula. The ready to feed really is very simple to use and take along with you. I'd say it's almost as easy as breasfeeding. I wish it came in a 4 oz size rather than an 8 oz size. The 2oz size is not enough (and way more expensive) and the 8oz is too much. It's fine when I'm at home and can refrigerate the extra but when I'm out and about the extra often gets wasted. But other than that I'm really happy with this product. With Amazon Prime and Free 2 Day shipping it's a great value too.

Simple, consistent, safe...PERFECT!
My son started on this the day he was born and it never failed us. He adored it and the premise bottles made every bottle consistent. Made travel easy bc the we never had to worry about verging water types or the excess air that builds up in formula made from powder unless it made in advance and left to āsettleā in the fridge. My son is now 2 and still gets a Similac bottle every evening before bed (down from multiple a day obviously) and while that too will soon be phased out, his pediatrician has no problem with him still having the one if not two bottles a day he has). We couldnāt be happier and Amazonās pricing is aba mmmmmmmmm
