This clay is a really great set for beginners. My 9 yo is really into making tiny things out of clay so it will last a very long time. You get so many colors the ideas are endless. The only thing about this polymer clay is that it if it gets to soft from rolling it in your hands it's nearly impossible to work with (like warm sticky gum) until it cools again. So keep it in a cool place, use the provided tools, don't squish it too much and you should be good. Really great deal for what you get!

I have not touched clay in years, and I’m not the artsy or crafty type- largely because I lack the patience and discipline to really get into and commit to any particular craft. I just saw the uptick in polymer clay based crafts recently and hoped it could be a fun, easy medium for making Christmas ornaments. I was able to open this kit and make this little llama on my first go. Popped him in my oven to bake, then used acrylic markers for the detail. Not the best and have a long way to go and learn, but not the train wreck I feared! I plan on watching some tutorials for techniques, and can confirm it’s easy for anyone to get started and have fun!

This was a pretty great product!The clay was easy to use ( but you needed to kneed it a lot)The colors were amazing!And the tools worked wonderfullyBut the box came broken and it didn’t come with instructions, so you have to get them on amazon

Bought this kit for my 13 year old. She loves crafting and making things from clay. She was able to make a lot of jewelry and other things with this kit. The clay was easy to use and the perfect kit for beginners.

Well I’m 24. I’m don’t really remember using name brand oven baked clay so I don’t really know how to compare how easy it was to use but I mean it’s fun to pass the time. And honestly the carrying case is pretty nifty I’ll probably continue to use it when I run out of clay

This clay is fun for kids or those starting out with polymer clay. It's moldable, but when baked it is not flexible. It's not great for jewelry making. My kids will play with it for hours though and make fun creations!

I was very pleased at how this clay handled. Very easy to warm up and use. Just enough clay to make fun projects

The kit itself is great. Two decks stacked up and make it easy to store and carry around. It comes with some tools and jewelry making kits. However, the clay is extremely dry and hard to put together. This is my first time use polymer clay, not sure if it supposed to be this dry? From online tutorial, the clay seems just like play dough soft and easy to form a shape. This brand i got can't form a shape. When roll into a ball, there are cracks.... That's the only reason I give a three star.
