After researching a bunch of bark collars I decided to give this one a try since it had three options to correct the dog--beep only, beep then vibrate, beep then vibrate then shock. For our dog (30 lb goldendoodle), the beep then vibrate setting was enough to stop her from barking at every person and animal that strolled by. We set the sensitivity to 5 and the vibrate to 4. I tried the shock on my hand at the level 3 setting and it gives a tingling sensation but it is certainly not painful if you have to use this method. The instructions are not the best but everything you need to know is shown in the pictures on the product page. I will follow up this review in a few months to comment on durability and battery life, but so far so good!UPDATE: been using the collar for 18 months now and it’s still going strong. We don’t use the shock correction but for us the battery lasts about 2 weeks on a single charge and it only takes about 30 minutes to fully charge.

So I have a 11 year old male chihuahua who barks non stop . If left alone he will bark for up to 2 hours straight no rest at all . We have had the police called on us for noise issues . We originally had a shock collar but his hair was too thick for the prongs to reach his neck to deliver the shock . This bark collar is amazing not oversized or bulky the prongs are long enough and reach his neck despite his thick hair . I was able to have a quiet house for the first time . I was about to spend hundreds on another brand but decided to go with this one and I can say I am fully satisfied with this product doesn’t break your pockets and it’s highly effective ! You can adjust the sensitivity which I like . Love it !

My dog barked at everyone who came to the house, not stopping sometimes for 30 minutes. Once I placed the collar on her, she barked twice, then realized why she was getting the uncomfortable zap after the barking. It cured her in one day. We do not make her wear it all the time now, and I sometimes put it on her without turning it on and she doesn't know the difference. We achieve the desired good behavior without having to submit her to any discomfort. Every now and then I do turn it on so she will continue to respect it if she barks.

I purchased this for my 9 month old Shih-Tzu who loves to bark strictly at night. I was looking for something that wouldn't be bulky because he's a small doggy, hurt him (obviously) and that I could keep on him all day. I had high hopes that I purchased the perfect collar because I hate returning things because I am lazy in that way. Unfortunately, this is so not the case.My son and I gave this thing a try and OMG it hurts when it shocks! I get it, this helps train the dog not to bark, but seriously?! Attach this to an alarm clock watch for a human or use it at that 2:00 feeling or possibly to jump start a Power Wheel. I thought it was going to give my dog a coronary. (Okay, that was a wee bit dramatic, but still). Now, I can't be lazy and have to return the dang thing and find another.To save everyone more of an essay here are more highlights.- The shock is too much!- Strap size is too long for my Shih-Tzu (picture of Shih-Tzu WITHOUT the bark collar on).- The actual component (the blue piece) is way to big, bulky and heavy.- I don't trust it's working capabilities...at all.

Great value, reliable product but resets to factory settings when turned off (shock setting of 5!!!!!). Check settings EACH and EVERY TIME before putting on your pet. I have another unit, same design/style but different brand that retains the last settings even when turned off. Owner’s manual did not describe this function.To say this was a shock would be an understatement for my poor pooch which only needs a shock setting of 1!

The only reason I only gave it a 4 star rating is because we have 2 pups. I got this for my older great Dane. We moved and he had gotten a bit "mouthy" so I turned the static on lowest level and the sound and vibrate up. He stopped barking constantly. However, the pups run around him barking trying to play with him...the collar was correcting him even when he was quiet if the pups barked.

My husband and I have a Sheltie who gets really excited when company comes over or when our neighbors are outside. He barks and barks and barks. He also freaks out when we run the blender. We decided to order the dog bark collar to see if it would help. I am thrilled to announce that he only had to wear it for 2 days and we have already noticed a HUGE improvement! Our sweet sheltie was outside all afternoon yesterday and we never heard him bark once. So thankful for this and I also appreciate the fact that he’s not being shocked or hurt in anyway. I highly recommend it. It is priced well and works splendid!

This product is easy to use and has helped keep our dog from barking all the time when she is out side. She is a small dog, sk we have it setting on 2 or3. It goes all the way to 7. My only complaint is that when a furniture truck goes down the street, it sets the collar off and I have to take it off of the dog for a min till the truck is down the street.

Les puse a mis 2 perros el collar, llevo 1 mes usándolo, lo puse en modo sonido y vibración y sin duda funciona, mis perros no ladran, le pongo 4 estrellas porque la correa que traen es muy frágil y se rompió uno de los 2 collares, ya que con unos pequeños mordiscos se deshilacha xd, se puede reemplazar con otro cociéndolo o así.

When I bought it I thought it would beep on 1st bark, vibrate on 2nd bark and then escalate to zap on 3rd bark.Nope, it would do all 3 on 1st bark if enabled.Good thing I can disable the zap function and having the vibrate on setting #1 is more than enough.On 1st bark, it would beep and then vibrate. This is enough to keep the puppy calm.
