Extra Links for Prong Collar, 4 Pack 4.00mm Stainless Steel Smooth Surface Links for Pinch Collar

I have a Top Dog 🐶 pinch collar from Pets Mart and needed extra prongs. Since Top Dog doesn’t make them I had to find something that would work. These work good not perfect as you can see from the picture, but they will work. I’ll update my review if I’ll need to return, but I don’t think I’ll need to since I tried it on my four legged child and it seemed fine. Hope this helps others looking for extra prongs for their Top Dog Pinch Collar.Update May 2021: The prongs have been working as if they were made for a Top Dog 🐶 pinch collar. I got these extra links for a small prong collar that I had purchased from either Petsmart or Petco a million years ago and can't remember the brand name. The links are a slightly different shape from the ones in the collar I own so I wasn't able to fit them together myself, but I had my husband bend the link prongs inward just a smidge so they would fit into the links of my collar. Now it works and you'd never know a difference! I can link and unlink them freely now.

I had a 3.5mm Supet prong collar that just needed a couple more links but I couldn't find that brand so I bought these. They were too large but company immediately sent me the smaller size 2.5mm and those worked just fine. Were fairly easy to put on and are a pretty good match for my prong collar. Company told me that the 3.5 mm refers to the diameter of the wire, which I didn't know, so possibly my original collar was mislabeled.

In the prong collar I have currently, the prongs are straight. These prongs go outward making it impossible to bend into the collar slots. I had to take pliers and bend them inward which ruffed up the metal.

These prongs fit into the collar that we have, but they don't move quite as freely as the ones that came on the collar. They are also slightly larger that the ones in the collar that we use despite the collar and the links both being described as "small 2.5 mm". These work for our purposes of being worn periodically/temporarily and only during hands on training with our dog. They were considerably more affordable than the other brands.

I was expecting to have to order another training collar because I wasn’t expecting much because of the price. I was wrong! The links are great quality! Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you for a great product!

These are sturdy and great once you get over the point of putting them in. I hated it, hurts and you really have to put your arm into it.But works great.

Wrong size. Ordered 3" size for collar. Hard to put together for older person. But got neighbor to help.
