Traxxas 860864BLUE E-revo Vxl Brushless: 1/10 Scale

Got it for my husband and initially we were not happy. His first time playing with it, for only like an hour, resulted in it not working. We took it in to our locally hobby store and replaced the pinion. I highly recommend. I guess it comes with a plastic one that if ran too fast, it shreds. If you replace it with a metal one, it doesn’t do that and it actually makes it go way faster. Besides that little thing, it fast, looks cool, has some really cool features and it’s everything he was looking for!

Lots of fun , great at high jumps lots of air will go anywhere,be prepared to break something get a wheelie bar

Extremely fast and durable

Pros:-Amazing on 6s-Telemetry Bluetooth feature +$34 is worth it.-If you drive it hard, it will break. Budget for and Enjoy the repairing and upgrading aspects.Cons:-Price-Servos underpowered.-Gravel can get into the driveshaft area and eat up the center half-shaft.-Factory build wasn’t very good. Had to re-setup the car plus servo linkages were way off.Used with both SMC 4s and 6s.

No good broke out of box ,steering gear servos were stripped out ,purchased new servo gears ,stripped out again in 10 minutes ,so purchased updated servos with steel gears,those are holding up good only an extra 140$ ,then electric motor came loose and ruined plastic spur gear ,purchased steel gears for 24$ that broke after about an hour of play ,tires are thin cheap rubber ,tore one of those open in the next 20 minute run.needless to say for the price of this toy it's made really cheap.on top of all that be prepared to pay 240$ for a charger and two batteries ,it does not come with purchase .all in all we now have 1200$ invested and have only played maybe total of 2 hours ,piece of junk pretty much.

Traxxas just doesn’t make them like they used to. The E Revo I got had critical ESC failure out of the box (all lights flashing red after 2-3 minutes of run time), got that warrantied but had to pay for shipping. As soon as I got the new ESC back in, not even 5 minutes later the rear drive shaft broke and the spur gear was already chewed up. I didn’t jump it or have any hard impacts, was running at about 45 mph and *snap* goes the driveshaft. Waste of $700+

Expect to replace ESC and steering servos. Under a year and on the first park run the ESC had a crural failure and the internal gears of the steering servo failed. Seems like a good car but not for the price given the fact that you will need to upgrade parts. I will replace the current ESC with a hobby wing MAX 6.
